Five Bureau Directors Blessed for Protecting Falun Dafa Practitioners

October 12, 2019 |   By Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa, a meditation system based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, has been illegally persecuted in China since July 1999.

During the past 20 years, some government officials have chosen to side with practitioners despite the persecution, while some have sided with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to punish innocent people.

I've collected some stories about the former directors at my workplace. One after the other, they received blessings for protecting innocent practitioners.

I began practicing Falun Dafa in April 1997. As with many other practitioners, both my physical health and mental state improved significantly. I felt like the luckiest person in the world.

I work in a large county-level government bureau that supervises about a dozen lower agencies. During the persecution of Falun Dafa, I, along with other practitioners, have been telling our bureau directors the real story about Falun Dafa. Because of this, they did not blindly believe the propaganda and protected practitioners in various ways.

Our First Director

When the persecution began in July 1999, the Political and Legal Affairs Committee (PLAC), the 610 Office, and the police department often issued persecution orders. They sometimes contacted our bureau director and Party secretary in the evening or at night.

After three Falun Dafa practitioners from our workplace went to Beijing to appeal, the director and other officials were often harassed, and our bureau's bonuses were canceled.

At that time, we had not yet clearly communicated the facts about the persecution to the director. Based on our day-to-day behaviors, however, he knew that Falun Dafa practitioners were good people, and did not take any action against us. He instead praised Dafa practitioners for their good performance and great personalities. He was later promoted several times before retiring.

Our Second, Third, Fourth and Current Directors

The persecution was the most severe during the second director's term. Nonetheless, he never brought up the topic of Falun Dafa during meetings. One time when higher officials were pushing very hard for him to punish us, he merely called several of us practitioners to his office and told us to be careful. Despite his relatively limited work experience, he received a promotion later to be deputy head of the county.

The third director had read many Falun Dafa materials and learned the truth about the persecution. He knew that Falun Dafa practitioners were all innocent, good people, and he often protected us. He bypassed a decree by the 610 Office and the Party secretary in 2007, and helped a released practitioner resume working at our bureau. He was later promoted numerous times and enjoyed a happy family life as well.

During the fourth director’s term, one of the practitioners was arrested by the city's Domestic Security Bureau and held at the city detention center. The director visitied the detention center multiple times and inquired about the practitioner's whereabouts. He tried his best to rescue his employee, and also arranged for the practitioner to go straight back to work after release. Sure enough, his good deeds were rewarded as well – he was soon promoted to be the director of another bureau.

The current director is relatively young and had learned about Falun Dafa in his previous job. I have had conversations with him about Falun Dafa, and further dispelled the rumors spread by the CCP. I told him how the previous directors had been blessed for protecting practitioners, while directors in another bureau faced consequences for siding with the CCP in harming innocent people. One of them was sentenced to ten years of imprisonment and had died in prison, while another was currently serving an eleven-year prison term.

The current director of my workplace accepted my advice and agreed to quit the CCP organizations.
