David Pizinger, 35, came across the event as he was walking through the square. He was drawn in and stood in the front row for a long time. He said that he had heard of Falun Gong 13 years ago but did not understand what it was.
Seeing so many practitioners with the words “Falun Dafa” in different languages on their shirts, he was moved. He said, “Falun Gong is a gift to the whole world. Wonderful! I might start practicing Falun Gong tomorrow.”

Ronit Ashkenazi and her daughter from Israel were on a tour of Prague. They came across the group event and paused to watch. She said it was a great way to let people find out about Falun Gong and said she would learn more online at home.

Berndt Karlsson, his wife, and friends from Sweden also watched the group practice. They said they liked what they saw and condemned the CCP's persecution.

That evening, practitioners holding candles lined up to form the characters “Falun Dafa is good” in Chinese. Many people watched. It was St. Wenceslas Day (Czech Statehood Day) that day, and Old Town was full of people.

Jan Mikel, a Czech undergraduate student, was visiting Prague when he came across the event. He said that the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance were very good. He said, “This reminds me to follow these principles in my daily life. Everyone should.”

Four Israeli students signed the petition to protest the persecution. Binyamin Aizenberg said, “Falun Gong is good but China is persecuting it. I think any human being with a conscience should support Falun Gong and be against the persecution.”
Eva Skorkora from Slovakia and her friends signed the petition. She said, “It would be great if the Chinese and people in other countries, too, were like Falun Gong practitioners.”
