(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 4 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 13 were illegally arrested.

1. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Wang Guihua Arrested

Ms. Wang Guihua from Tianbei Village, Tianyi Town, Ningcheng County was arrested by officers from the Railway Police Station, while she was waiting to board the train with her family on June 3, 2018.

The officers searched Ms. Wang's bag, and took her to the county detention center. She was allowed to return home the following day.

2. [Beijing] Ms. Kan Shufeng Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Kan Shufeng, 71, was arrested and taken to the Chaoyang Detention Center by officers from the local 610 Office on September 2, 2017. She was sentenced to a two-year prison term by the Chaoyang District Court on February 27, 2018.

Ms. Kan is being held in the Tianhe Prison.

3. [Beijing] Ms. Tian Yaling Detained

Ms. Tian Yaling from the Tongzhou District was arrested by officers from the Tongzhou Domestic Security Division and Liyuan Police Station on the afternoon of June 13, 2018. Her home was ransacked.

Ms. Tian was taken to the Tongzhou Detention Center, where she suffered a stoke on June 19. She was taken to a hospital and placed in the intensive care unit.

4. [Tianjin] Ms. Yu Fuyan Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Yu Fuyan was sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term by the Hexi Court in June 15, 2018.

5. [Wuhu City, Anhui Province] Ms. Lu Shoumei Arrested

Ms. Lu Shoumei was arrested by officers from the Wuhu City Police Department and its subordinate police stations, while she was distributing Falun Gong materials in the Yijiang District on the afternoon of June 8, 2018.

6. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Feng Zhixin Arrested

Mr. Feng Zhixin from Fengjiawuzi Village, Kanjia Town, Gaomi City was arrested by director Qian Mingqiang and other officers from the Kanjia Town Police Station, on the morning of May 10, 2018. The officers confiscated Hong Yin, copies of The Ultimate Goal of Communism, and a cell phone.

Mr. Feng was taken to a detention center, but was released later that day due to his poor health.

7. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhu Fengzhen Arrested

Ms. Zhu Fengzhen, 56, was arrested on May 29, 2018.

8. [Shanwei City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Peng Xuehua and Ms. Zhuang Neimei Arrested

Ms. Peng Xuehua and Ms. Zhuang Neimei were arrested while they were talking to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of June 19, 2018.

9. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Mr. Zhang Yuze, Ms. Zhang Yuhua, and Ms. Ye Weizhen from Haimen City were arrested by officers from the Haimen Domestic Security Division in June 2018. They were taken to the Nantong Detention Center.

10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xing Xiaohong Arrested

Ms. Xing Xiaohong was arrested by officers from the Wulidun Police Station, Hanyang District, on April 7, 2018, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Her blood pressure rose very high, after being abused by officers from the Hanyang Domestic Security Division.

Ms. Xing is being held in the Wuhan Police Department's Ankang Hospital, a prison hospital.

11. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Cui Guiming Detained

Mr. Cui Guiming was arrested by officers from the Dongwayao Police Station on June 6, 2018. His home was ransacked and Falun Dafa books and materials were confiscated.

Mr. Cui was taken to the Shenyang City No. 1 Detention Center.

12. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Tong Mingyu in Critical Condition

Mr. Tong Mingyu is in critical condition in the Tailai Prison. He is very thin and emaciated. Several of his relatives went to the prison and requested that he be released on urgent medical parole.

13. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Tian Haiying and Mr. Xiong Shaowen Detained

Ms. Wang Suihong was arrested by officers from the Xunjiang District Domestic Security Division in early 2018. Her lawyer, accompanied by Ms. Tian Haiying and Mr. Xiong Shaowen, went to the Domestic Security Division to demand Ms. Wang's release on June 14. However, Ms. Tian and Mr. Xiong were arrested, and remain in custody.
