(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 4 provinces. According to this report, 1 Falun Gong practitioner was subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 11 were illegally arrested.
Four officers from the Tianpeng Town Police Station, led by Tian Shunhe, head of the Tianpeng Town Comprehensive Management Office, went to Ms. Chen Guifen's home and ransacked it on the morning of June 13, 2018. When Ms. Chen tried to stop them, she was pushed aside by the officers. The officers squeezed her hands and burned them with a cigarette. All her Falun Dafa books, printed materials, DVDs, and exercise music cassette were confiscated. Ms. Chen was taken to the police station, where she was interrogated. The police called her son to take her home that evening.
Ms. Dong Huiling was arrested by officers from the Taohuayuan Police Station while she was distributing Falun Gong materials on the morning of June 8, 2018. She was taken to the Ta'an City Detention Center. The detention center refused to admit her as she appeared to have symptoms of hypertension and hyperglycemia. She returned home that afternoon.
Ms. Dong's husband, Mr. Ma Zhongtang, was arrested that afternoon. The officers ransacked their home and confiscated Falun Dafa books, a computer, and a printer. Mr. Ma is being held in the Feicheng City Detention Center.
Officers from the Linghe Town Police Station broke into Mr. Wang Peihe's home in Longwanya Village and ransacked it on May 14, 2018. Mr. Wang was taken to the police station. The police demanded his family give them 2,000 yuan, which they refused. Mr. Wang remains in custody.
Mr. Wu Xueyi from Yingqiu Town was arrested by officers from the Yingqiu Town Police Station in early May 2018. The police told his family to give them 5,000 yuan but they refused. Then the police reduced the amount to 2,000 yuan. Mr. Wu was released after the police received the money.
Mr. Wang Guohui and his wife Ms. Yu Chunli, from Duanjiazhuang Village, Jihongtan Neighborhood, Chengyang District, were arrested by officers from the Jihongtan Police Station on June 1, 2018. Mr. Wang is being held in the Xifu Town Detention Center. Ms. Yu is held in the Pudong Detention Center.

Ms. Xie Shimei, 54, was in Qingdao Hospital to take care of her husband in May 2018, while he underwent chemotherapy for esophageal cancer. She was arrested at a hotel by the Qingdao police. She was taken back to Jiaozhou City. Officers from the Beiguan Police Station, Jiaozhou City, ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Dafa books and materials. She is being held in the Pudong Detention Center.

Ms. Gong Liying and Ms. Yan Yulan from Caofeidian District, were reported by a village official for talking to villagers about Falun Gong in Cuigezhuang Village, Baigezhuang Town, Luannan County, on June 17, 2018. They were arrested and held in the Luannan County Detention Center.
Ms. Zhu Yufen was arrested by officers from the Dongzhan Police Station at the Daqing City Train Station when she was heading to Harbin City on the afternoon of June 13, 2018. The officers searched her bag and found two brochures with Falun Dafa information. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated all her Falun Dafa books and photos of the founder of Falun Gong. She was released several hours later.
Mr. Zhu Junxin, about 60, from Dongchishigou Village, was arrested at the checkpoint of the Junan County Train Station on the afternoon of June 15, 2018. His personal belongings were confiscated. He was held in the Junan County Detention Center for seven days.
