(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 18 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 7 were illegally arrested.

1. [Diaobingshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Chungui Detained

Ms. Li Chungui, 75, was reported to the authorities on the evening of June 26, 2018, while she was distributing Falun Gong materials in Shahousuo Village. She was arrested by officers from the Xiaoming Police Station. Her photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Dafa books, and materials were confiscated.

Ms. Li is being held in the Xinmin Detention Center, Shenyang City.

2. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Mr. Ji Guangkui Sentenced to a Four-Year Prison Term

Mr. Ji Guangkui was recently sentenced to a four-year prison term and fined 50,000 yuan by the Chaohu City Court.

3. [Beijing] Ms. Fan Jirong Arrested

Ms. Fan Jirong from the Yanqing District was reported to the authorities on the evening of June 23, 2018, while she was posting Falun Gong materials. She was arrested by officers from the Yanqing Police Station.

Ms. Fan was taken back home the following afternoon by the Changping police.

4. [Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Li Youwu Tried a Third Time

Mr. Li Youwu was tried for the third time in the Yushui District Court on June 26, 2018.

5. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Mr. Zhu Mingxi Sentenced to a Six-Year Prison Term

Elderly Mr. Zhu Mingxi was sentenced to a six-year prison term by the Shuimogou District Court. He appealed, but the original verdict was upheld during the second trial.

6. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Du Genyue, Ms. Liu Wen, Ms. Jin Yuxiang, and two other practitioners from Zhangbei County were intercepted by village officials while they were talking to people about Falun Gong in Miaotan Township on June 26, 2018. They were arrested by officers from the county police department and local police stations.

The five practitioners were held in the Zhangbei Police Department for one night. Three of them were released the following day, but Ms. Liu and Ms. Du remain in custody.

7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xie Lijuan Detained

Ms. Xie Lijuan from Nong'an County was arrested on June 26, 2018. She was held in the Weizigou Detention Center for ten days.

8. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Cheng Deliang Tried

Mr. Cheng Deliang from the Development Zone was arrested on September 28, 2017. He was held in the Yantai Detention Center for nine months.

Mr. Cheng was tried in the Development Zone Court on the afternoon of June 27, 2018. The court did not announce a verdict.

9. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Zhilian and Ms. Chen Fulan Detained

Ms. Chen Zhilian and Ms. Chen Fulan from the Shizhong District were arrested by officers from the Jiuli Town Police Station, Emeishan City.

Both practitioners are being held in the Leshan City Detention Center.

10. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Anli Detained

Ms. Chen Anli from the Development Zone was arrested by officers from the Jinqiao Police Station on June 12, 2018. The officers confiscated her Falun Dafa books.

Ms. Chen was taken to the Development Zone Detention Center for 15 days of detention. She has since been released.

11. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Three Practitioners Officially Arrested

Mr. Jing Jianhong, Mr. Xiao Guangyu, and Ms. Gui Min from the Xincheng District were arrested by officers from the Luyuan Police Station, Gaoling District, on March 31, 2018.

Mr. Jing and Mr. Xiao are being held in the Gaoling District Detention Center, while Ms. Gui is being held in the Weiyang District Detention.

The three practitioners were officially arrested by the local Procuratorate on May 11.

12. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liu Xiuying Arrested

Ms. Liu Xiuying, about 70 years old, from Hunan Province, was arrested in the Meihuayuan area of Tonghe Town, Guangzhou City on June 15, 2018.

13. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Juan Detained

Ms. Li Juan from the Yuhong District was arrested by officers from the Liaoning Province Domestic Security Division and local police station on June 1, 2018. She is being held in the Shenyang City No. 1 Detention Center.

14. [Tai'an City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Zhenlian Arrested

Ms. Li Zhenlian was reported to the authorities for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Qiujiadian Farmers' Market on the morning of June 23, 2018. She was arrested by officers from the Qiujiadian Police Station, Taishan District. The officers confiscated over 4,000 yuan in paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them.

Ms. Li was taken to the Tai'an City Detention Center, but was not accepted. She was taken home later that evening.

15. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Gang Officially Arrested

Ms. Li Gang, 75, from the Shahekou District was arrested on March 22, 2018. She has now been officially arrested.

16. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Hao Jie and Ms. Wang Yinhuan Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Hao Jie and Ms. Wang Yinhuan were each sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term in late March 2018. They appealed, but the Urumqi City Intermediate Court upheld the original verdicts during the second trial on June 20.
