Clarifying the Truth to Former Classmates

May 02, 2018 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Northeast China

(Minghui.org) We had a class reunion in September 2015. It was a luncheon to welcome Mei (alias), who was returning from the south of China. There was a Fa study at the same time, so I was not sure which event I should attend. If I went to the reunion, I would miss the Fa study. If I did not go to the reunion, I would lose the opportunity to talk with people about Dafa.

Local classmates could still meet, but those who lived in other cities may not return to our area. I would regret it if I missed the reunion. Therefore, I decided to go to the luncheon.

During the lunch, I did not clarify the truth about Falun Dafa, because I was not sure how to go about it. I knew that feeling was a human attachment: I was in fear that my classmates would not understand or accept what I had to say.

Two-hours later, the lunch was over and I still hesitated. I asked myself, “What should I do? Why am I here?”

In the end, when I attempted to talk to Mei, another classmate shouted that I get in her car. A few more classmates also got in her car as well. I looked back and saw that Mei was also in the same car.

While driving, I told them about the goodness of Dafa and Jiang Zemin’s cruel persecution. I mentioned that people in the world are awakening and withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

“The CCP is corrupt and the heavens will punish it,” I said. “ In school, we joined the Young Pioneers and the Youth League and later the CCP. Everyone raised their fists and swore to fight for it and give their lives for it. We may have devoted our lives to it, but if it comes to natural disasters because of the CCP, you would be impacted since you are a member of the Party. If you can quite the CCP, you need not worry.”

They listened quietly, understood the truth, and quit the Party and its youth organizations. I gave each of them a nickname and promised to complete the process for them.
