Mr. Wang Haisheng from Tang County was arrested on January 3, 2017. He was sentenced to eight years in prison and fined 20,000 yuan. He appealed to the Baoding City Intermediate Court on January 4, 2018. The intermediate court scheduled a second trial and upheld the original verdict on April 9, 2018. Mr. Wang was taken to the Jidong Prison, Tangshan City, on April 17, 2018.

8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Guo Shujun Tried

Ms. Guo Shujun from the Dongxihu District was arrested by the Dongxihu police on November 2, 2016. She was released on bail. The Dongxihu Court put Ms. Guo on trial on the morning of April 3, 2018. The verdict was issued on April 8. Ms. Guo was fined 3,000 yuan. All her Falun Gong materials were confiscated. She appealed to the Wuhan City Intermediate Court on April 17.

Mr. Zeng Hao, a university teacher, was arrested and his home ransacked by officers from the Haizhu District Domestic Security Division and Jiangnanzhongjie Police Station on August 10, 2017.
