1. [Beijing] Ms. Qiao Baoqin Arrested

Ms. Qiao Baoqin from the Huairou District was reported to the authorities for talking to people about Falun Gong on the evening of April 10, 2018. She was arrested by officers from the Miaocheng Police Station.

2. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Qin Guizhen Arrested

Ms. Qin Guizhen, 69, from Dongwang Village, Dongwang Town, was arrested by the director of Dongwang Town Police Station Bian Gang and other officers on March 26, 2018, for talking to people about Falun Gong and distributing Falun Gong materials.

The officers confiscated Ms. Qin's bag, as well as materials from Mr. Yang Jingtian, 88, who was distributing materials with her at the time.

Ms. Qin was later released.

3. [Shanghai] Mr. Lu Jinlong Sentenced to a Four-Year Prison Term

Mr. Lu Jinlong from the Baoshan District was tried on March 29, 2018. He was sentenced to four years in prison on April 12.

4. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Cheng Jiying's Whereabouts Unknown

The director of Cuipingshan Police Station in the Yunlong District, Gu Sheng, went to Ms. Cheng Jiying's home and arrested her on April 12, 2018. Ms. Cheng's whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Cheng was previously arrested by officers from the Cuipingshan Police Station in early December 2016. She was released on bail on January 15, 2017. The 5,000 yuan bail she posted has not yet been returned.

5. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Aiwen's Verdict Upheld

Mr. Zhang Aiwen from Qinglong County was sentenced to three years in prison by the Qinglong County Court on April 12, 2018. He appealed to the Qinhuangdao City Intermediate Court, but the original verdict was upheld.

6. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhang Muqing Detained

Mr. Zhang Muqing, 36, from the No. 1 Group, No. 5 Tianxingba Village, Nanqiang Town, Innovation Industrial Park, was reported to the police by a residential community security guard for posting Falun Gong materials in mid-October 2017. He was arrested by officers from the Fuyuanlu Police Station.

Mr. Zhang has been held in the Yongxing Detention Center for nearly six months.

Mr. Gong Xin and another practitioner from the Wanghua District were arrested by officers from the Jianshejian Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong on April 9, 2018.
