According to this report, 8 Falun Gong practitioners were illegally arrested, 1 practitioner was subjected to harassment, at least 6 were detained, and 6 practitioners were given prison sentences.

1. [Yongji County, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Sun Shuqing, Ms. Zhao Yufen, and Ms. Zhang Fengrong were held in the Hongqi Detention Center for 15 days.

2. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

The Xinghualing District Court sentenced three practitioners on April 8, 2018.

Ms. Tian Yunfei was sentenced to a seven-year prison term and fined 6,000 yuan.Mr. Xue Fugui was sentenced to a three-year prison term and fined 4,000 yuan.Ms. Lian Sulan was sentenced to a two-year prison term and fined 3,000 yuan.

The three practitioners appealed their sentences the same day.

Mr. Zhou Xin was arrested on April 11, 2018, for talking to people about Falun Gong.

4. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Changhua Harassed

Ms. Song Changhua from Zhaili Town in the Zichuan District was harassed by officers from the Banyang Police Station and Zhaili Police Station several months ago. They extorted 2,000 yuan from her family.

Police officers recently harassed Ms. Song and her family several times over the phone. Officer Wei Guoning from the Zichuan District Domestic Security Division, and several others then went to Ms. Song's home and harassed her and her family.

The officers attempted to arrest Ms. Song, but she managed to escape.

5. [Shanghai] Ms. Li Hong Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Li Hong was sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term by the Xuhui District Court on April 11, 2018.

6. [Beijing] Mr. Chen Mingqian Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Chen Mingqian was arrested at work on the evening of March 5, 2018. He was taken to a hotel for brainwashing sessions.

7. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Feng Guangyun Arrested

Ms. Feng Guangyun was arrested in Guangzhou City in early February 2018.

8. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Guanghua Detained

Ms. Yang Guanghua, from Fushanzhuang Village, Changlu Town, was arrested by officers from the Changma Police Station on April 5, 2018. She was taken to the Pingyi Detention Center.

9. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Mr. Jia Bin and His Wife Ms. Zhao Chunxia Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Jia Bin and his wife Ms. Zhao Chunxia from Bairin Left Banner were arrested by officers from the Bairin Left Banner Domestic Security Division on April 21, 2018.

Mr. Jia was sentenced to a five-year prison term, and Ms. Zhao was sentenced to a three-year prison term by the Bairin Left Banner Court.

Both practitioners appealed, but the Chifeng City Intermediate Court upheld the original verdicts.

Mr. Jia and Ms. Zhao are being held in the Bairin Left Banner Detention Center.

10. [Beijing] Mr. Zhu Yanting Detained

Mr. Zhu Yanting, 49, from the Fengtai District, was arrested by police officer Yang Zhong on April 9, 2018.

Mr. Zhu was taken to the Fengtai Detention Center.

11. [Wafengdian City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Limei, Ms. Ju Xianqing, and an elderly practitioner with the surname Lu were reported to the authorities for distributing Falun Gong materials on the morning of April 10, 2018.

They were arrested by patrol officers from the Gongji Police Station, and interrogated by officers from the Wafangdian City Domestic Security Division.

Lu was released that afternoon because of his advanced age. Ms. Wang and Ms. Ju were taken to Dalian City for five days of detention.
