1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Guojun and Wife Ms. Wang Shuhua Officially Arrested

When Mr. Li Guojun from Songyuan City recently went to Changchun City to look for a job, officers from the Minkanglu Police Station arrested and beat him. They fractured his eye socket. His wife, Ms. Wang Shuhua, and his sister-in-law, Ms. Wang Shufen, went to Changchun to file a complaint about Mr. Li's arrest and treatment. Both women were arrested by officers from the Minkanglu Police Station and the Songyuan City Domestic Security Division. Mr. Li and his wife have been officially arrested, and Ms. Wang Shufen left home to avoid further persecution.

2. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Ms. Song Peiling Detained

Ms. Song Peiling from Binhe Township was arrested at home by officers from the Debiao Police Station of Nong'an Town and the Binhe Township Police Station on the afternoon of January 11, 2018. She was detained at Weizigou Detention Center for 10 days.

3. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Mr. Tang Sheng Sentenced to Three-and-a-half-Years

Mr. Tang Sheng, in his 20s, was arrested in 2016 and beaten and tortured. Mr. Tang was recently sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison and has appealed the sentence.

4. [Shouguang City, Anhui Province] Ms. Guo Xiuqing and Ms. Liu Hongjun Sentenced to Prison

Two practitioners from Jitai Town were sentenced to prison by the Shouguang City Court. Ms. Guo Xiuqing was given a seven-year prison term, and Ms. Liu Hongjun a three-year prison term. Both appealed. Their appeals are on file at the Weifang Intermediate Court.

5. [Penglai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Jia Yuhe Sentenced to Three Years

Five officers from the Xiaomenjia Police Station went to Mr. Jia Yuhe's home around 10 a.m. on January 17, 2018, seized Mr. Jia, and took him to a hospital for a physical exam. Mr. Jia refused to cooperate. He was later taken to a courthouse, where a criminal judgment was issued. Mr. Jia was sentenced to three years in prison.

6. [Xiantao City, Hubei Province] Mr. Liu Xiong and Mr. Hu Fengcheng Sentenced to Prison

Five practitioners were sentenced to prison in the Qianjiang City Court between November 7 and November 8, 2017. Among them, Mr. Liu Xiong was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison and Mr. Hu Fengcheng to two years.

7. [Guangshui City, Hubei Province] Ms. Song Tianling Arrested

Ms. Song Tianling was arrested by Jingdian Police Station officers for distributing Falun Gong materials at Huangshan tourist sites in Anhui Province on January 17, 2018.

8. [Tianjin] Mr. Zhai Guoxing Arrested

Officers from the Dongxin Police Station of the Hedong District broke into Mr. Zhai Guoxing's home, ransacked it, and arrested him on the morning of January 19, 2018.

9. [Tieli City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Xiang and Wife Arrested

Mr. Liu Xiang and his wife from Yuejin Village left home to avoid persecution in 2012.

Mr. Liu was arrested in Dongliu Village, Xiliu Town, Haicheng City, Liaoning Province, on October 23, 2017.

His wife was arrested at her daughter's home in Xinkaihe Town, Tai'an County, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, by Xinwadian Police Station officers of Anshan City on December 19, 2017.
