(Minghui.org) On the International Human Rights Day, December 10, 2018, Falun Dafa practitioners in Malaysia held an anti-torture exhibit in the Bukit Bintang area of Kuala Lumpur.
The anti-torture exhibit reenacted some of the torture methods used by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to force Falun Dafa practitioners to give up their belief.
The exhibit raised awareness of the human rights abuses in China during the persecution of Falun Gong. It offered locals and tourists in Kuala Lumpur an opportunity to learn about the 19-year-long persecution.
Bella, a university student, said she was shocked after learning about the persecution. She said that the persecution and the tortures were unacceptable and that the anti-torture exhibit was a good way to expose the atrocities.
Ramali, a business owner, said that killing people for their organs is wrong regardless of where you are on this earth. He pointed out that the CCP is a tyrant regime and restricts people's freedom.
Falun Dafa practitioners held a rally outside the Chinese embassy in Kuala Lumpur on December 2, 2018. They also hand delivered a letter to the embassy, which condemned the 19-year-long persecution.
A Westerner who has been living in Malaysia for five years took note of the event. Norman asked for materials to learn about the persecution in China. He said that he hoped the persecution would end soon. He also expressed interest in learning the Falun Dafa exercises.
Police officers also took note of the uniqueness of practitioners. One officer said that the practitioners adhered to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and were therefore different than protesters of other issues. He said that the practitioners were very peaceful during all of their events.
