(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 15 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 13 were illegally arrested.

1. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Persecuted

Several practitioners were arrested on November 9, 2018, and are being held in the Daqing City Detention Center and Detention House. Ms. Tang Zengye, Ms. Chen Liping, and others were taken to hospital for emergency treatment several times as a result of persecution.

Ms. Tang was released on November 18. Ms. Lu Guanru, Ms. Yuan Lixue, and others were forced to stand in the corner for long periods of time.

Ms. Wang Juyan was arrested and her four computers were confiscated by officers from the Dongan Police Department on November 9. She is being held in the Daqing Detention Center. Ms. Zhang Linying and Mr. Yingzi, and Mr. Wang Mujiang's wife were also arrested.

2. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Guoling, Ms. Li, and Ms. Gao were arrested by officers from the Peiying Police Station on November 12, 2018. Ms. Gao was released that evening as she had high blood pressure. Ms. Li Guoling was detained.

Ms. Li Guizhi was arrested at home on the same day by officers from the Tai'an Town Police Station. She was detained for five days.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhong Shujuan and Her Husband Mr. Li Kuan Sentenced

Ms. Zhong Shujuan was arrested by officers from the Zhongshan District Police Department on June 28, 2016. She was sentenced to a seven-and-a-half-year prison term by the Ganjingzi District Court. She appealed, but her sentence was upheld by the Dalian City Intermediate Court.

Ms. Zhong was taken to Liaoning Women's Prison on August 28, 2018.

Mr. Li Kuan, Ms. Zhong's husband, was sentenced to three-and-a-half-years of probation in the spring of 2018. In addition to the sentence, he was detained for 15 days.

4. [Faku County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Niu Zhanhua Sentenced

Mr. Niu Zhanhua was sentenced to a three year prison term.

5. [Beijing] Ms. Wu Ye Mistreated in Detention

Ms. Wu Ye is being held in the Dongcheng Detention Center. He developed a hole in his lungs, swelling of the face, and difficulty walking as a result of persecution.

6. [Beijing] Ms. Lai Xiuchun Sentenced

Ms. Lai Xiuchun was recently sentenced to an 18-month prison term.

7. [Tianjin] Ms. Jiao Huiping Detained

Ms. Jiao Huiping was placed under criminal detention on November 21, 2018. She is being held in the Beichen District Detention Center.

8. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Chunling Detained

Ms. Zhang Chunling, 70, was arrested on November 16, 2018, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being held in the Zouping Detention Center.

9. [Chengwu County, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Mei Detained

Ms. Liu Mei was arrested in June 2018 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being held in the Heze Detention Center.

10. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhou Meijuan Facing Trial

Ms. Zhou Meijuan is scheduled to be tried by the Shanghai No. 4 Court on December 4, 2018.

11. [Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Li Youwu's Sentence Upheld

Mr. Li Youwu was sentenced to an eight year prison term by the Yushui District Court. He appealed, but the original verdict was upheld by the Xinyu City Intermediate Court.

Mr. Li was taken to Hongdu Prison on September 28, 2018. He was transferred to Yuzhang Prison on November 19.

12. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Huang Shaoyong Imprisoned

Mr. Huang Shaoyong was arrested on July 12, 2017. He was sentenced to a two-year-and-nine-month prison term, and taken to Sihui Prison from the Jieyang City Detention Center on November 20, 2018.

13. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Tang Qiuyuan Arrested

Ms. Tang Qiuyuan was arrested by officers from the Jinbilu Police Station on November 23, 2018, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

14. [Jiang'an County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Mingling and Ms. Wang Minghui Arrested

Ms. Wang Mingling and her sister Ms. Wang Minghui were arrested on November 12, 2018. Their home was ransacked.

Ms. Huang Xiangling was arrested by officers from the Chengxi Police Station on November 21, 2018. She was placed under criminal detention on November 22, and taken to a detention center.
