1. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Cuijuan Detained

Ms. Wang Cuijuan from Jugezhuang Town, Miyun District was reported when she talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was arrested and taken to the Chaoyang Detention Center by officers from the Jugezhuang Town Police Station on September 27, 2018.

2. [Tianjin] Mr. Meng Jie Faces Trial

Mr. Meng Jie will be tried by the Hexi District Court on October 18, 2018.

3. [Wuzhong City, Ningxia Autonomous Region] Ms. Song Laiping Faces Trial

The Yanchi County Court will try Ms. Song Laiping in the Wuzhong City Court on October 17, 2018.

4. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Mr. Ji Guangkui's Appeal Rejected

Mr. Ji Guangkui was sentenced to four years in prison and fined 50,000 yuan. The Hefei City Intermediate Court affirmed the sentence.

5. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yang Shuming Detained

Mr. Yang Shuming form Mengyin County was arrested by officers from the Jiuzhai Township Police Station and agents from the 610 Office. His laptop computer and Falun Gong books were taken. Mr. Yang was transferred to the Mengyin County Detention Center on September 28, 2018.

6. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Eight Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Hu Xiujuan and six practitioners were arrested on September 27, 2018 for mailing letters to the police department which appealed for Falun Gong.

Ms. Yu Qiuzhuan from Beishankou Town, Gongyi City was arrested by officers from the Beishankou Town Police Station on the afternoon of September 27, 2018. Police ransacked her home. Ms. Yu is being held at the Gongyi City Detention Center.

7. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Zou Jihua Detained

Ms. Zou Jihua from Nanjiang Town, Pingjiang County was reported to the Nanjiang Town Police Station when she talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong on September 27, 2018. She was arrested. She is being held at the Pingjiang County Detention Center.

8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Peng Zenghua Arrested

Ms. Peng Zenghua, 56, from Heilongjiang Province was arrested in the Railway South Station in Shenyang City when she took a high-speed rail home on September 27, 2018. She was taken to a detention center. But the center refused to take her due to her high blood pressure. She was released.

9. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xiuqin Detained

Ms. Wang Xiuqin from Tengao Town, Haicheng City was arrested in front of her home by officers from the Liaoyang County Domestic Security Division. She is being held at the Liaoyang City Detention Center.
