Ms. Li Yulan from Bairin Left Banner was arrested and taken to the Bairin Right Banner Domestic Security Division by villagers from Zhaohuge Village, Bairin Right Banner, on the afternoon of December 25, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials in the village. She was placed in criminal detention at the Bairin Right Banner Detention Center.

2. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Shuhua Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Yang Shuhua was arrested at home by officers from the Xiangyang Police Department on September 1, 2017. She was tried at the Longshan District Court on December 12, 2017. She was sentenced to one-year in prison, with one year of probation. She returned home on December 18.

3. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Ms. An Lianyu and Ms. Kan Hongxia Detained

Ms. An Lianyu and Ms. Kan Hongxia from Tanbu Town were reported for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Gaozhuang farmers market on December 25, 2017. They were arrested and their homes were ransacked. They are held in the Yishui Detention Center.

4. [Jining City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ou Zhengying Given a Ten-Month Prison Term

Ms. Ou Zhengying from Weishan County was arrested on July 7, 2017. She was recently given a 10-month prison term.

5. [Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Yu Rongxin and Wife Ms. Xie Qing Detained

Mr. Yu Rongxin was arrested on September 18, 2017. His wife Ms. Xie Qing was arrested three days later. The couple is held in the Jiangmen Detention Center.

Ms. Qu Shumei from Yuantai Town, Wafangdian City, was arrested on the afternoon of December 27, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials in Yuantai Town.

10. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Yanqiu, Ms. Xu Jingwen, and other practitioners were arrested on December 25, 2017. Ms. Xu Jingwen was taken to the Domestic Security Division's Hospital because she was vomiting and cramping. One practitioner was released for health reasons. Ms. Li and the other practitioners were taken the Shuanghe Detention Center.
