Mr. Dong Wenzhong from the Baiyun District was arrested at his home by Zhang Guangming and others from the Baiyun Comprehensive Management Office on March 27, 2017. This happened after Mr. Dong had attempted to get his wife released from custody.

Mr. Dong was taken to the Guangzhou City Brainwashing Center. He is still being held there for refusing to implicate other practitioners.

Ms. Liu Yujuan from Chaoyang County was arrested at home by officers from the Boluochi Police Station on September 28, 2016. Her home was ransacked.

Ms. Liu was sentenced to a seven-year prison term.

3. [Shanghai] Mr. Xu Jianjin and His Wife Ms. Qiao Fen Arrested

Mr. Xu Jianjin and his wife Ms. Qiao Fen from Ningde City, Fujian Province, were arrested in Shanghai in June 2017.

Mr. Xu, former head of the Jiaocheng District Discipline Inspection Commission in Ningde City, was given a three-and-a-half-year prison term for practicing Falun Gong.

4. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Ren Yuehui Arrested

Ms. Ren Yuehui from the Yanjiang District was arrested by officers from the Yanjiang Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of August 29, 2017. Her whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Huixian Detained

Ms. Li Huixian, in her 70s, was arrested by agents from the Yangjiang City 610 Office and officers from the local police department on August 9, 2017. Her home was ransacked.

She was held in the Pinggang Detention Center for 15 days.

6. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Song Baolan and Ms. Yang Lijun Arrested

Ms. Song Baolan and Ms. Yang Lijun were arrested on the morning of August 30, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong at Guangming Village, Liumao Township in the Hengshan District.

7. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhao Jiayu Arrested

Ms. Zhao Jiayu, 64, from Jingkou Town in the Shapingba District, was arrested in early August 2017. Her whereabouts are unknown.

8. [Huanren Manchu Autonomous County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Xinhua and Ms. Zhang Guijun Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Li Xinhua and Ms. Zhang Guijun were arrested on the street by Wang Chenggang, head of the Huanren County Domestic Security Division, and Wang Qi on August 30, 2017.

They were directly taken to the county court, where Ms. Li was sentenced to a two-and-a-half-year prison term, and Ms. Zheng was sentenced to a three-year prison term.

Ms. Zhang was granted medical parole for failing the physical exam. Ms. Li was taken to Benxi City.

Mr. Xiang Debin from the Xian'an District was transferred from the Banqiao Brainwashing Center of Hubei Province Legal Education Center to the Xian'an District Detention Center by agents from the 610 Office on August 29, 2017.

10. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Chen Biqiu Arrested

Ms. Chen Biqiu was recently arrested. Her whereabouts are unknown.

11. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhou Zhonggui Arrested

Mr. Zhou Zhonggui was arrested by plainclothes officers on August 28, 2017. His home was ransacked. His whereabouts are unknown.

12. [Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

The Fanshi County Court, in collaboration with the Xinzhou City Domestic Security Division and the Fanshi County Domestic Security Division, sentenced Ms. Wang Meiyun to a three-year prison term on July 20, 2017. Mr. Liang Tiancai and Ms. Yang Junjun were each sentenced to three-year-and-six-month prison terms.

Ms. Wang was taken to the Maojialing Prison in Taiyuan City in early August. Mr. Liang and Ms. Yang were taken to the Qi County Prison.

13. [Shanghai] Mr. Yang Jianhua Detained

Mr. Yang Jianhua from the Pudong New Area was arrested by officers from the Changning District Police Department on August 30, 2017. He is being held in the Changning Detention Center.

Ms. Wang Cuiyan, Ms. Hou Minjie, and Ms. Miao from Wuji County were arrested by officers from the Zhangduangu Town Police Department on the afternoon of August 29, 2017. The officers confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, cell phones and computers.

Ms. Wang and Ms. Hou were taken to the Chengbei Detention Center. Ms. Miao was released.

Mr. Luan Ning was arrested at work on August 27, 2017. His home was ransacked.

20. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Seven Practitioners in Prison

Ms. Tang Qingying, Ms. Tang Kaiju, Ms. Xiao Guiying, Ms. Yin Qiuyang, Ms. Li Baoxing, Ms. Jin Fuwan, and Ms. Deng Yue'e are being held in the Changsha Women's Prison.

21. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Meng Xiange, Ms. Liu Yingjie, Ms. Xing Fengxiang, and Ms. He Yan were arrested by Li Zhongjie, head of the Wen'an County Domestic Security Division, other security officers, and officers from the Xinkailu Police Station on August 30, 2017. They were taken to the Wen'an County Police Department.

The four practitioners were released that evening, but are being prosecuted by the Wen'an County Procuratorate.

Ms. Li Xue and Ms. Ma Suyuan from Dashiqiao City were arrested by officers from the Dashiqiao City Police Department and the Zhoujia Town Police Station on August 29, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong.

24. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Mr. Guo Shuangyin, Mr. Ding Guihe, and Mr. Liu Hongchang from Ren County were arrested by officers from the Beilou Township Police Station on August 25, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong in Jingfu Village, Beilou Township, Longyao County.

The three practitioners are being held in the Longyao Detention Center.

Mr. Liu Guirong from the Beichen District was tricked into going to the police station, where he was arrested, on August 28, 2017. He is being held in the Beichen District Detention Center.

27. [Tianjin] Ms. Yu Shuzhen Arrested

Ms. Yu Shuzhen was arrested by officers from the Taoyuan Police Station in the Hexi District on the afternoon of August 25, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong.

28. [Changde City, Hunan Province] Ms. Jiang Mingshi Detained

Ms. Jiang Mingshi was arrested on a train while traveling to visit her son in Changsha on August 23, 2017. She was detained for 15 days.

29. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang De Detained

Mr. Zhang De was arrested by officers from the Taoyuan Police Station on the afternoon of August 28, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong in his hometown. He was taken to the Tieling City Detention Center.

30. [Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Seven Practitioners Detained

Ms. Meng Huiling and six other practitioners were arrested at Ms. Wang Baohua's home by plainclothes officers while they studied the Falun Gong teachings on August 24, 2017. The officers confiscated many Falun Gong books and a printer.

The seven practitioners were taken to the Zhalantun Detention Center.

Mr. Li Shan was arrested by personnel from his work place and the Goubei Police Station in the Economic and Technological Development Zone in mid-August 2017.

Mr. Chu Zhenqi, 76, from Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, had his pension suspended because he refused to renounce his belief in Falun Gong

His wife Ms. Wang Guozhen, 75, was sentenced to a six-year prison term, and was taken to the Shijiazhuang Women's Prison on April 15, 2016.
