“The cosmos in the past was based on selfishness. Let's take man as an example: when it came to crucial moments he truly couldn't care less about others. When I started Fa-rectification, some gods said to me, 'You're the only one who gets involved in others' business.' I know, you find this hard to believe, because you are altruistic beings created by Dafa that have roles in Fa-rectification and that have truly enlightened. If I didn't do that, with the end of history all lives would end. When a being is considerate of others in doing things and displays tolerance in the process, it's because his starting point is selfless.”(Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa Conference in New York)

I felt greatly shaken when I read the sentence: “you are altruistic beings created by Dafa that have roles in Fa-rectification and that have truly enlightened.” At that moment, I saw a small transparent Falun through my celestial eye. I then saw the moment Master created the cosmos. He knew the cosmos would eventually go through the process of destruction based on the law of formation, stasis, degeneration, and destruction. However, Master didn't want to destroy everything.

I saw that everything, from the beginning second to the last second was created the moment the cosmos was created. And everything would disintegrate if the cosmos was destroyed. Master has boundless wisdom. He created the first lives of Falun Dafa disciples from the Fa. I saw that these lives were our origins at their very roots. However, the other lives of the cosmos, including those at the highest levels, do not know this.

We originated from selflessness, which is the opposite of selfishness. We were created so that true Dafa disciples could help Master save sentient beings throughout the entire cosmos, and bring them to the new cosmos during the last stage of the old cosmos. The information about our true origins is sealed. Master is in control of everything.

Master said,

“The Law Wheel is the root of all that I give you. And I will eliminate karma for you, I will settle for you all of the gratitude and resentment from your past lives and at various dimensional levels as well as various types of deep-rooted ties, I will give you many mechanisms both inside and outside your body that will drive changes throughout your body, and I will install things in your dantian and other areas for you. Like seeds, over ten thousand things will be produced. In the future I will also have to strike your name off of the name list of hell. This is what you are allowed to know, but much, much more will be done for you, and only then can you really cultivate, and only then can you truly advance in cultivating the Great Law.”

I understand that the Falun is like a key to wisdom. As we cultivate ourselves, it continues to unlock our wisdom and capability. We will eventually be able to completely understand more things that Master does, and our true origins.

As time in our cosmos proceeded, we went through various reincarnations and continued to be wrapped in various factors generated by selfishness. We descended to lower levels and followed Master to establish predestined relationships with sentient beings. Eventually we came to the human world. We have been waiting eons for this moment in history.

When I saw all this with my celestial eye, I better understood what Master told us,

“For all [that you have gone through] since ancient times,Was for none other than this time around.”(Plum Blossoms from Hong Yin II)

“You can’t really alter this system of things that they arranged. Master is able to, but I must not, because if I were to do so at this point, my destroying their things would destroy everything; each and every thing would be ruined. So I try to beat them at their own game—that’s the way to do it. They aren’t able to affect the fundamental things. So as Dafa disciples you should just firm up your righteous thoughts, and do well with what you need to do. If you can manage to really do well in all three regards, nobody will dare to touch you.”(Fa Teaching at the 2015 West Coast Fa Conference)

I also gained a better understanding of why we absolutely can't recognize or go along with any of the old force arrangements. The old forces are based on selfishness. Going along with the old forces is equivalent to destroying ourselves!

We must not be enveloped in selfishness. Instead, we have to return to our most fundamental origins and assimilate to the characteristics of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. We must cultivate ourselves well, do the three things well, walk righteous paths, fulfill our missions, and accomplish what Master wants us to. We must do well.
