(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 44 were illegally arrested.

1. [Haiyang City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Qi Yuling was arrested on July 18, 2017. Two other practitioners, whose names are not available, from Shijian Village, Dongcun Town, were arrested on the same day.

2. [Nanpi County, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Cui Shuhong, Ms. Li Mingzhen, and Ms. Zhang Senhui from Fengjiakou Town were arrested by officers from the Fengjiakou Town Police Station on the evening of July 20, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials. Their tricycle was confiscated.

The three practitioners were taken to the Cangzhou City Detention Center.

3. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested; Two of their Whereabouts are Unknown

Officers from the Yujiashan Police Station in the Hongshan District broke into Mr. Xiong Shunhai's home, at the Huazhong University of Science and Technology family quarters on Guanshan Street, on the morning of July 20, 2017. They ransacked the place and arrested Mr. Xiong, 76, and Ms. Liu, in her 50s.

The officers then staked out Mr. Xiong's home and arrested Ms. Li Shuixian, in her 70s, who was trying to visit the couple.

Ms. Li was released that evening. Mr. Xiong and Ms. Liu's whereabouts are unknown.

4. [Xupu County, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Reported to the Authorities; Two Arrested, One Avoids Arrest

Mr. Hou Guiqing, Mr. Zhang Jianhua, and Ms. Zhang Xiaoying were reported to police for distributing Falun Gong materials in the countryside on the evening of July 14, 2017.

Mr. Hou and Mr. Zhang were arrested and taken to the Xinglong Police Station. They were released the following afternoon.

Ms. Zhang managed to avoid arrest.

5. [Pulandian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Pang Jia'e on Hunger Strike

Ms. Pang Jia'e was arrested on June 29, 2017. She has been on hunger strike since she was taken to the Yaojia Detention Center.

6. [Tianjin] Four Practitioners Arrested; Three of Their Whereabouts are Unknown

Ms. Xu Ying, Ms. Li, Ms. Yang, and Ms. Qiao from the Heping District were arrested by officers from the Xinxing Police Station on July 18, 2017. Their homes were ransacked.

Ms. Qiao was later released. The other three practitioners' whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lai Yajun Detained

Ms. Lai Yajun was reported to the police for distributing Falun Gong materials on July 19, 2017. She was arrested and taken to a detention center.

8. [Xingcheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Liyan Arrested

Ms. Liu Liyan from Tangtun Village, Hongyazi Township, was arrested at her home on July 19, 2017, and taken to the Hongyazi Township Police Station by village officials.

9. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Detained

Mr. Li Weitao, Mr. Guo Shiyou, Mr. Gu Lianjie, Mr. Tang Xianhe, and Ms. Luo Li were arrested for hanging Falun Gong banners in the countryside on the evening of July 19, 2017.

The five practitioners are being held in the Liaoyang City Detention Center.

10. [Suzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Liu Rongping Detained

Mr. Liu Rongping from Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, was arrested by officers from the Taiping Police Station in the Xiangcheng District, Suzhou City, Zhejiang Province on April 21, 2017. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated computers and printers.

Mr. Liu was held in the Suzhou City Detention Center for 37 days.

11. [Beijing] Mr. Wu Jun Detained

Mr. Wu Jun was reported to the authorities, and was arrested by officers from the Xinfadi Police Station on July 10, 2017, for practicing Falun Gong. He was taken to the Lugouqiao Detention Center.

12. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Du Xiumin, Ms. Xie Fengxia, Ms. Li Baozhen, Ms. Li Chunhua, Ms. Wang Minghui were arrested by officers from the Halahai Township Police Station on July 6, 2017. They were detained for 15 days.

Mr. Zhang Baiquan from Yangshulin Township was also arrested.

13. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yong Xiqin and Ms. Zhou Kaiqin Arrested

Ms. Yong Xiqin and Ms. Zhou Kaiqin from the Qingbaijiang District were arrested by officers from the Dawan Police Station in Qingbaijiang at around midday on July 20, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong in the Caishikou area of Qingbaijiang.

14. [Weishan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Ou Zhengying Detained

Ms. Ou Zhengying was arrested on July 7, 2017, and is being held in the Jining Detention Center.

15. [Yishui County, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Jinling and Ms. Yang Mingling Arrested

Ms. Li Jinling and Ms. Yang Mingling from Beimenlou Village, Zhuge Town, were arrested on the morning of July 19, 2017. Their homes were ransacked.

16. [Yishui County, Shandong Province] Mr. Ma Shengcai and His Wife Ms. Cai Honghua Arrested

Officers from the Bashan Police Station broke into Mr. Ma Shengcai's home in Chaishan Township and arrested him and his wife Ms. Cai Honghua on the afternoon of July 21, 2017.

17. [Yishui City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qi Guiling Arrested

Officers from the Yaodianzi Town Police Station broke into Ms. Qi Guiling's home in Fengtaizhuang Village and arrested her on the morning of July 18, 2017. They ransacked her place.

18. [Jingxing County, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Geng Qiao, Ms. Geng Surong and Ms. Fan Xiuyu were reported to the police by the head of Weizhou Town and the town's party secretary on June 30, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials and talking to people about Falun Gong.

The three practitioners were arrested by officers from the Jingxing County Domestic Security Division and the Weizhou Police Station.

Ms. Geng Qiao was taken to the Shijiazhuang City No. 2 Detention Center on July 1. Ms. Geng Surong and Ms. Fan were taken to the Shijiazhuang Detention Center. All three practitioners were released and returned home on July 15.

19. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Geng Haizeng Arrested

Mr. Geng Haizeng, about 60, was arrested on July 22, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials in a residential community.

20. [Nanzhao County, Henan Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Rong and two other practitioners, whose names are not available, were recently arrested by officers from the Chengjiao Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong. They are being held in the Nanyang City Detention Center.

21. [Linxia County, Gansu Province] Mr. Song Zongxiao Arrested

Mr. Song Zongxiao from Liangjiashan Village, Xinji Town, was arrested by officers from the Linxia Police Department and the Xinji Police Station on July 18, 2017.

Mr. Song was taken to the Linxia County Police Department.
