(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Aige, 68, was arrested in May 2016 for distributing informational materials about the practice. The Qingdao Development District Police Department dropped her case a year later.

Ms. Wang was handing out Dafa fliers at Guanting Market on May 17, 2016, and was reported to the authorities. She was arrested by officers from the Changjianglu Police Station and taken to the Pudong Detention Center in Jimo City.

She was released on medical parole while awaiting trial. Her family hired a lawyer to represent her in court.

Officials at the Qingdao Development District Police Department decided to drop her case a year later, saying, “Ms. Wang's actions were trivial and caused little harm to society. It is not regarded a crime.”
