(Minghui.org) Ms. Li Aifen, a Falun Gong practitioner from Nanhedu Village in Gongyi City, was arrested on June 1, 2017. The police identified her in a surveillance video when she was posting Falun Gong materials in a county within Jiaozuo City a few days prior.
Three male and one female officer from the Jiaozuo City Police Department and two officers from the Gongyi City Police Department, accompanied by two officers from the Nanhedu Police Station, broke into Ms. Li's home in Nanhedu Village, Heluo Town, Gongyi City, at 11 a.m. on June 1, 2017.
The officers immediately began to ransack the residence without any explanation. They confiscated a printer, a notebook computer, and printed material related to Falun Gong.
They then took Ms. Li, 68, to the Jiaozuo City Detention Center.
Mr. Zhang Yuanheng from Gongyi City was arrested by the Jiaozuo police on the evening of June 2, 2017 for driving Ms. Li to post Falun Gong materials.
The whereabouts of other practitioners who were involved in this case are unknown. More information is pending.
Ms. Li is known for her kindness among neighbors in her area. She has enjoyed good health, as her former illnesses disappeared after she started practicing Falun Gong.
