Ms. Cao Xiujun was arrested and taken to the local detention center by local Domestic Security officers on March 10, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong.

2. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Shuhui Detained

Ms. Wang Shuhui from Shihuadong scenic area, Hebei Town, Fangshan District, was reported for distributing Falun Gong materials on March 11, 2017. She was arrested by officers from Hebei Police Station and is held in Fangshan District Detention Center.

3. [Shanghai] Ms. Meng Fanzhen and Ms. Li Detained

Ms. Meng Fanzhen, 70, was arrested at home by officers from Jiading District Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of March 14, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated three Falun Gong books, an MP3 player, and a draft of a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin (former Chinese Communist Party head who initiated the persecution of Falun Gong). She was taken to Zhenxin Street Police Station that afternoon. Ms. Li, who was with Ms. Meng telling others about Falun Gong, was taken to Jiading District Detention Center.

4. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Ms. Ma Gui'e Detained

Ms. Ma Gui'e was arrested at home by Wang Junbo, Shao Dakui, and other officers from Dongdajie Police Station on the evening of March 14, 2017. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to Xinxiang City Detention Center.

5. [Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Gao Huizhu and two other practitioners were arrested on March 15, 2017. Ms. Gao's home was ransacked. Her computer, printer, Falun Gong books, and many paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them were confiscated.

Ms. Wang Cuilan was arrested on March 14, 2017.

6. [Dushan County, Guizhou Province] Ms. Suo Zhenglin Detained

Ms. Suo Zhenglin, about 54, a primary school teacher, was arrested around November 2016. She was held in Duyun Detention Center.

She had also been sentenced to three years in prison in 2005 for distributing Falun Gong materials.

7. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Three Sisters Arrested

Ms. Li and her two sisters were arrested at home by officers from Guchengzi Police Station on March 14, 2017. Their families went to the police station demanding their release. The families had to pay 50,000 yuan for each of the three sisters.

8. [Tianjin] Mr. Yan Fuxiang Displaced

Mr. Yan Fuxiang and other practitioners drove to Ji County to distribute Falun Gong materials in February 2017. The plate number on their car was recorded by surveillance cameras on the street.

Seven or eight officers from Ji County Police Station and several officers from Xiliucun Township Police Station, Zunhua City, Hebei Province, broke into Mr. Yan's home and ransacked it on March 14, 2017. Officers from Ji County Police Station came to his home again the following day and attempted to arrest him. They also asked for 10,000 yuan. They did not succeed. Mr. Yan was forced to leave home and became displaced.

9. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yanli Detained

Ms. Lin Jialan, Ms. Yang Guizhi, and Ms. Wang Yanli were arrested by officers from Longtan District Police Department and Yan'an Police Station on the afternoon of March 13, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong. Ms. Wang was detained for 15 days. The other two practitioners were released.

10. [Chongqing] Ms. Yang Hanying Detained

Ms. Yang Hanying was arrested by officers from Shangquan Police Station, Guanyinqiao Walking Street, on the afternoon of March 15, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong. She is held in Cuntan Detention Center, Jiangbei District.

11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Xiaoguang and (Wife) Ms. Xu Fengyun Arrested

Mr. Li Xiaoguang and Ms. Xu Fengyun (wife) were arrested on March 13, 2017. Their home was ransacked.

12. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xu Qiuyan Detained

Ms. Xu Qiuyan was reported for talking to people about Falun Gong on the morning of March 14, 2017. She was arrested and her home ransacked by officers from Masen Township Police Station, Industrial New Area. She was taken to Hengshui City Detention Center that afternoon.

13. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Furong Arrested

Mr. Zhang Furong, 67, was arrested at home on March 12, 2017. His home was ransacked.

14. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhen Mingfeng Arrested

Ms. Zhen Mingfeng was arrested and her home ransacked on the morning of March 7, 2017.

15. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Qiong Arrested

Ms. Huang Qiong was reported for talking to people about Falun Gong on March 9, 2017. She was arrested by two car loads of police officers. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books, materials, over 10,000 yuan in cash, and several bank cards. She was released that evening.

16. [Gaizhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Dai Ruilian Taken to Prison

Ms. Dai Ruilian was arrested at her mother's home on June 28, 2016. She was given a one-and-a-half year prison term. She was taken to No. 6 team, No. 8 Ward at Liaoning Women's Prison on February 28, 2017.

17. [Shanghai] Ms. He Meiyun Arrested

Ms. He Meiyun was arrested on the evening of March 14, 2017. Her whereabouts are unknown.

18. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Mo Shanyi Detained

Mr. Mo Shanyi worked on odd jobs in Chengdu. He was arrested on the evening of March 13, 2017 for distributing Falun Gong materials. He is held at Chengdu Detention Center.

19. [Tianjin] Ms. Huang Shuqin Detained

Ms. Huang Shuqin, 67, from Ninghe District, was arrested by officers from Lutai Police Station on the afternoon of March 15, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked. She was held in Ninghe District Detention Center.

20. [Huangchuan County, Henan Province] Ms. Liu Zhenfang Detained

Ms. Liu Zhenfang, 59, and Ms. He Xiufang from Pengdian Township were arrested and taken to Hedian Detention Center by plainclothes officers on March 3, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong in Chuanliudian Township. Ms. Liu was transferred to Xinyang City No. 1 Detention Center on the third day. She remains in custody. Ms. He was released after she failed the physical exam.

Ms. Liu was previously taken into custody three times by the Domestic Security Division. She has been sentenced to four years in prison and held at the Henan Province Women's Prison.
