(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 7 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 9 were illegally arrested.

1. [Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Four Practitioners Imprisoned

Four practitioners were sentenced to prison in September 2016. Ms. Tang Liwen was sentenced to eight years in prison. Mr. Wang Tao, Ms. Ji Liping, and Ms. Zheng Jinling were each sentenced to seven years in prison. The three female practitioners were taken to the Hohhot City Women's Prison and Mr. Wang was taken to the Baoanzhao Prison in mid-January 2017.

2. [Susong County, Anhui Province] Mr. Fang Haoqi Tried

Mr. Fang Haoqi was tried by the Criminal Tribunal of Susong County Court on January 10, 2017. He was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison on January 23, 2017.

3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ji Min Prison Term

Ms. Ji Min was tried at the Pudong Detention Center in Jimo City by the Shinan District Court on December 7, 2016. She was recently sentenced to one and a half years in prison.

4. [Jimo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Suhong Detained

Ms. Zhao Suhong, 46, was arrested by officers from the Tongji Police Station on January 21, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Beilongwan Village Farmers Market. She was placed under administrative detention for 10 days at the Pudong Detention Center.

5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhou Xikun and Ms. Zhu Huanmei Arrested

Mr. Zhou Xikun was arrested on December 20, 2016. He has since remained in custody.

Ms. Zhu Huanmei was arrested by officials from the Security Section of Wuhan University, when she was visiting Mr. Zhou Xikun's family member at Wuhan University. Her current whereabouts is unknown.

6. [Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Taken Into Custody

Mr. Zhang Qinggui, Ms. Zhang Shengqin, and Ms. Jiang Hong were arrested by officers from the Fengcheng City Domestic Security Division and the Dandong City Domestic Security Division on January 22, 2017 for hanging Falun Gong banners in a military compound in Fengcheng City. The three practitioners are held in the Fengcheng Police Department.

7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Yanfang Given Prison Term

Ms. Zhang Yanfang, 46, from Jinzhou District was arrested on March 9, 2016. She was sentenced to three and a half years in prison in July 2016. She was taken to the Liaoning Province Women's Prison on September 28, 2016.

8. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Shuqin Arrested

Ms. Zhang Shuqin was recently arrested.

9. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Ming Arrested

Mr. Wang Ming was arrested on January 18, 2017.

10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhu Fengying Arrested

Ms. Zhu Fengying was arrested on January 18, 2017.
