1. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Li Mingfang Sentenced to a Seven-Year Prison Term

Ms. Li Mingfang from Yunyan District was sentenced to seven years in prison by the Yunyan District Court and the Guiyang City Intermediate Court. She was taken to the Guizhou City No. 1 Women's Prison. No family visits were allowed.

2. [Yongji County, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Guifu Sentenced to a Three-Year Prison Term

Ms. Wang Guifu was arrested at her relative's home in Dalian City on June 27, 2016, for talking to people over the phone about Falun Gong. She was sentenced to three years in prison by the Dalian Development Zone Court on December 9, 2016.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Mu Xiaomei, Ms. Dong Yanhua, and Ms. Yang Yuzhi were arrested on January 6, 2017 by officers from the Jincheng Police Station. Ms. Dong and Ms. Yang were taken to the Weizigou Detention Center for 15 days. Ms. Mu's whereabouts are unknown.

4. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Three practitioners were secretly sentenced to prison by the Shinan Court on January 20, 2017. Ms. Li Xiujun was sentenced to a four-and-a-half-year prison term, Ms. Wang Jin to four years, and Ms. Zhang Hongru to three-and-a-half-years. The three practitioners are planning to appeal the verdicts at a higher court.

5. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Ma Yuzhen, Ms. Wang Yuxiang, and Ms. Gao Hongyu from Fushan District were followed and arrested by plainclothes officers on January 20, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Zhongqiao farmers market in Qixia City. The three practitioners were beaten by the police. Their cell phones and keys were confiscated.

6. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Liao Songlin Arrested

Mr. Liao Songlin was arrested by Zhou Haichang and officers from the Huatang Town Police Station on the morning of January 16, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong in Huatang Town, Beihu District. The officers confiscated Falun Gong materials, DVDs, and about 85 yuan in currency with Falun Gong information printed on it. They were released that afternoon.

7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Pan Xiaomin and Mr. Cao Jian's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Pan Xiaomin and her husband Mr. Cao Jian were arrested on the evening of January 19, 2017. Their whereabouts are unknown.

8. [Jiuquan City, Gansu Province] Ms. Yang Sufang Arrested

Ms. Yang Sufang from Xincheng District was arrested and her home ransacked on January 18, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials. She was released due to high blood pressure.

9. [Longxi County, Gansu Province] Mr. He Libin Detained

Lu Dechang, deputy head of the Longxi County Domestic Security Division, along with officers from the Longxi County 610 Office and the Wenfeng Town Police Station, arrested Mr. He Libin on the morning of January 17, 2017. They ransacked his home and confiscated his computer and printer, among other items. He was taken to the Longxi County Detention Center.

10. [Tianjin] Mr. Tan Hongjun and Ms. Qin Shunping Arrested

Mr. Tan Hongjun and Ms. Qin Shunping were arrested by plainclothes officers on the afternoon of January 20, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Zengxingyao farmers market, in Dongli District. Both practitioners were taken to the Dongli Detention Center. Ms. Qin was released after failing the physical examination. Mr. Tan was detained for ten days.

11. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Cui Passed Away

Ms. Wang Cui from Shenqiu County developed cerebrovascular disease while in the Xinxiang Women's Prison and passed away on December 21, 2016. Her body was immediately cremated by prison personnel.

12. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Yushen Detained

Mr. Zhang Yushen was arrested on January 14, 2017 and taken to a police station by officers from the Henan Police Department, in Shengfang Town, Bazhou. He was then transferred to a detention center for 14 days.

13. [Huai'an County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Xiufen Arrested

Ms. Li Xiufen from Chaigoubu Town was arrested on December 12, 2016 at a train station checkpoint by railway police officers, for carrying Falun Gong materials. She was released on bail the following day.

14. [Qujing City, Yunnan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Li Luliang was arrested by plainclothes officers from the local police station on January 5, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials. He was released that afternoon.

Ms. He Ruiying was arrested by plainclothes officers from the Taihe Police Station on the morning of January 5, 2017, for posting Falun Gong materials. Her home was ransacked. She was released that evening.

Ms. Ye Feng'e was arrested by officers from a police guard post in the Gucheng area on January 16, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Qilin District Detention Center for 13 days.

15. [Heishan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Rongjin Detained

Ms. Zhang Rongjin was arrested on January 18, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials in Dahushan Town. She is being held in the Jinzhou Detention Center.
