(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 19 were illegally arrested.

1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Lianhui Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

Ms. Yu Lianhui, 67, from Wafangdian City, was arrested by officers from the Wafangdian Police Department on March 15, 2016. She was sentenced to a three-year prison term by the Wafangdian Court, and has been held in the Dalian Detention Center.

2. [Puning City, Guangdong Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Ye Rongsheng and another practitioner were arrested by plainclothes officers from Jieyang City State Security Division, Puning City State Security Division, and Liaoyuan Police Station on January 10, 2017.

Mr. Ye is being held in the Puning Detention Center, while the other practitioner was released after twelve days in custody.

3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhou Fengying and Ms. Li Guizhen Detained

Ms. Zhou Fengying and Ms. Li Guizhen, from Nanlan Village, Hetoudian Town, Laixi City, were arrested on February 7, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Malianzhuang Farmers' Market.

They are being held in Laixi Detention Center.

4. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Guangyuan, Mr. Gao Hongbo, and Mr. Zhang Weihua from the Lingshan Neighborhood, Lishan District, were arrested on January 3, 2017.

Their case files have been submitted to the Lishan Procuratorate.

5. [Xiangyang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Xing Guangming Arrested

Mr. Xing Guangming was arrested by officers from the Fancheng District Domestic Security Division and Qinghekou Police Station on February 7, 2017.

His home was ransacked, and a computer and printer were confiscated.

6. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Qian Fengli Detained

Ms. Qian Fengli was apprehended by security guards and taken to the Yongchang Police Station on January 1, 2017, for posting Falun Gong materials in a residential community in the Zhenxing District.

Her home was ransacked, and she was taken to the Jingu Detention Center.

Her case files have been submitted to the Zhenxing District Procuratorate.

7. [Tianjin] Mr. Li Yuanyong Arrested

Mr. Li Yuanyong from the Beichen District was arrested on the morning of February 4, 2017, when he was out grocery shopping. His whereabouts are unknown.

8. [Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province] Five Practitioners Detained

Ms. Guo Zhongxiang, Ms. Ji Quanchun, Ms. Wang Liping, Ms. Liu Guilan, and Ms. Yin Xuemei from Huairen County were arrested on the afternoon of February 8, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong in Ying County.

They are being held in the Ying County Detention Center.

10. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Jing and Ms. Wang Xiuying Arrested

Ms. Wang Jing and Ms. Wang Xiuying were arrested by officers from the Duqiao Town Police Station on the morning of February 9, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Yangyuan Farmers' Market in Duqiao Town.

Mr. Zheng Xilin from Longjiang County was arrested at home by officers from the Longjiang County Domestic Security Division and police station on January 25, 2017. His car was confiscated.

Mr. Chen Guoyi, a taxi driver in Huangzhou District, was arrested on January 11, 2017. He was taken to the Huangzhou Detention Center, and later transferred to the Huanggang City No. 1 Detention Center.

13. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang and Her Husband Arrested

Ms. Wang and her husband were arrested when they were withdrawing cash at the Guangrao County Bank on February 7, 2017. They were taken to the Jining Police Department.

The husband was later released, but Ms. Wang was taken away by officers. Her whereabouts are unknown.
