(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 3 cities or counties in 3 provinces. According to this report, 2 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 1 were illegally arrested.

1. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Mr. Liang Baofan Taken to Gongzhuling Prison

Mr. Liang Baofan was secretly taken to the Gongzhuling Prison on December 30, 2016. His family was not allowed to visit him until a month later.

2. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Chen Huan Detained

Mr. Chen Huan was arrested at his rental home in the Honggangcheng area on January 5, 2017. His home was ransacked. He was first taken to the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center. He is now held in the Etouwan No. 1 Detention Center.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Chengjun Imprisoned

Ms. Zhang Chengjun, 76, was sentenced to three years in prison by the Shahekou District Court in November 2013. She was taken to the Liaoning Women's Prison on February 18, 2014 by officers from the Wuyi Square Police Station.

Ms. Zhang suffered from kidney stones due to persecution in the prison. She could not eat for several weeks.
