1. [Shangqiu City, Henan Province] Ms. Huang Xiulan Detained

Ms. Huang Xiulan was arrested by officers from the Gucheng Police Station on December 15, 2017. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books, Minghui Weekly, and other personal items. She is currently held at the Pingtai Detention Center.

2. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Shi Youlian Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Shi Youlian was arrested by officers from the Wanzhuangzhaoai Police Station on December 15, 2017. She was taken to the Renqiu City Brainwashing Center.

Mr. Li Jize was arrested at home by officers from the Weisengzhai Police Station, the Guantao County Police Department, and Li Junshan, captain of the Guantao County Domestic Security Division on September 10, 2017. He is currently held at the Guantao County Detention Center. His case was brought to the Guantao Procuratorate.

4. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Sentenced

Ms. Dong Zuozhen, arrested at home on August 29, 2016, was diagnosed with having gallstones in the bile duct while being held at a detention center. She was in serious condition. However, she was sentenced to a three-year and four-month prison term on November 30, 2017, and taken to Jilin Provincial Women's Prison on December 15, 2017.

Mr. Li Leping and Ms. Zhao Lanyun were also arrested and sentenced to seven-year prison terms. Ms. Dong's husband, Mr. Zhang Hongjiu, was sentenced to a ten-year prison term.

5. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Wenjie Detained

Ms. Zhang Wenjie, along with another practitioner, was arrested by officers from the Lishan Police Station on December 6, 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is currently held at the Anshan City No. 3 Detention Center.

6. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wei Lanying Detained

Ms. Wei Lanying, 70, was arrested by officers from the Changle County Domestic Security Division on December 5, 2017. She was taken to Jinan Prison on December 7.

7. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chu Lin Detained

Ms. Chu Lin was arrested by officers from the Pengxing Town Police Station on December 19, 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was held at the Xiaonan District Detention Center for 5 days.

8. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Haisheng Sentenced

Mr. Wang Haisheng, arrested on December 13, 2016, has been held for more than one year.

He was sentenced to an eight-year prison term and fined 20,000 yuan by the Tang County Court on December 16, 2017. He appealed to the Baoding City Intermediate Court.

9. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Xu Xieqia, Mr. Zhao Liuzhu, Ms. Li Qiaoling, and Ms. Zhao Shuqin were arrested by officers from the Xinjianlu Police Station on December 15, 2017.

11. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Qin Gangling was arrested by officers from the Bianfang Police Station on December 17, 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was taken to Zhangjiagou Detention Center, but was later released that evening because he failed a physical examination.

On the same day, Ms. Liu Xiaoning was also arrested by officers from the Bianfang Police Station and the Longkou Domestic Security Division. She was held at the Zhangjiagou Detention Center for 15 days.

12. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Lu Shaojuan, Ms. Zhou Liang, and Mr. Lin Chuangxin were arrested by officers from the local police station on December 17, 2017, for distributing calendars having information about Falun Gong and talking to people about the persecution. They were taken to the Mei County Detention Center.
