(Minghui.org) I began practicing Falun Dafa on January 1, 1997. I was an engineer at a local well-known research institute, but was fired in July 2001 because I continued to practice.
Last October twelve banks in our area began broadcasting slanderous messages about Falun Dafa on their ad screens outside, around the clock, mainly about the currency bills which have Falun Dafa information printed on them. Some banks even opened a counter so that people could report where they got the bills, or who wrote the information on them. I worried that people would not accept this currency, and that the bank staff was helping the persecutors to poison people and ruin them.
Master taught us that safeguarding Dafa is the responsibility of every practitioner, and where there is a problem, we need to address it. I knew I should clarify the truth to the bank staff, but I was overcome with fear. Since banks are heavily monitored, I was afraid that I would be video recorded as soon as I walked in.
I wasn't able to calm down for several days. I asked myself what I was afraid of. Was I afraid of being detained again or being told by other practitioners that I had been overzealous? Or was I worried that I would not achieve positive results?
I spent a lot of time sending forth righteous thoughts to clear out the negative elements in my dimensional fields and to dissolve the substance of “fear.” I told it that it was not part of me.
I recited Master's Fa,
“They surge like thunderbolts to cosmic heightsRoaring with colossal power, they reach beyond the heavensThey sweep across the cosmos, no crevice left untouchedEliminating at once all that’s degenerate and deviant”(“Righteous Thoughts”)
“If you are a true practitioner, our Falun will safeguard you. I am rooted in the universe. If anyone can harm you, he or she would be able to harm me. Put simply, that person would be able to harm this universe.” (Zhuan Falun)
As I continuously recited the Fa every day, the “fear” gradually left me, and disappeared.
I then went to clarify the truth to the bank staff, and I sent forth righteous thoughts all the way there. With every step, my righteous thoughts became stronger and stronger, and I could feel that my whole body was enveloped in energy. I felt very calm as I stepped into the bank.
A manager met with me. I clarified the truth to her, and she withdrew from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). She said that it was good that we were suing Jiang Zemin for persecuting practitioners. I told her that it was not good to broadcast slanderous information on the boards outside. She listened and agreed to tell the director. She happily accepted a Falun Dafa calendar and informational materials.
This reinforced my confidence. I felt that Master was beside me, strengthening me.
“...cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while transformation of gong is done by one’s master.” (Zhuan Falun)
Everything is done by Master.
The next day I went to see the director of another bank. She enthusiastically greeted me. I had talked about the persecution to her before, and she had withdrawn from the CCP. She said that high-level bank executives had ordered the slander, and the bank branches had to follow their orders.
I encouraged her by saying, “I believe you have the wisdom to know how to stop this. She thought for a while and then said, “I'm supposed to attend a meeting in a few days. I will talk to my boss about it.”
“Wonderful! You are doing a tremendous good deed,” I said. She accepted the informational materials I brought for her, and thanked me.
I reminded myself not to become complacent. Everything is done by Master. Master has arranged everything for us. As long as I let go of my attachments and do everything righteously, Master has the final say.

For many years local practitioners had clarified the truth mainly in the markets, the surrounding villages, and to farmers. We felt that it was hard to talk about the persecution in mainstream society, so talking to bank staff was a good opportunity.
I shared my idea with the others, and one practitioner was willing to visit the banks with me. I arrived at a bank early and sent forth righteous thoughts for thirty minutes to clear the field around the bank and the substance of “fear” in my dimensional fields. The other practitioner then arrived, and we went into the bank.
We talked to a young man who was very polite. He told us that the director was not in, and that he would pass our message to him. While I talked to him about Falun Dafa and the persecution, the other practitioner stood next to me and sent forth righteous thoughts. She told the young man the benefits of practicing Falun Dafa. We also told him the importance of withdrawing from the CCP. He agreed to quit the Party using his real name. Before we left, we asked him to pass on our message to the director, and we gave him some materials.
Some practitioners delivered Dafa materials to the bank managers in person. We addressed the envelopes to at least two people so that at least two people would read them.
Due to our collective efforts and co-operation, the slanderous propaganda soon stopped.
