(Minghui.org) I am a doctor. I once had a 78-year-old patient whose back curved almost 90 degrees. He had been suffering from lumbar disc herniation for decades. As time went by, his lower back pain got worse. The other day, his family brought him to my clinic again. Seeing him suffer so much, they cried.
I reviewed all his medical records. From a medical point of view, other than doing surgery, there wasn't any other way to help him. Considering the patient's medical condition, the surgeon did not recommend an operation; instead, he suggested more conservative treatment.
During the elderly man’s hospitalization, I talked to him about Falun Dafa to him and talked about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). He said that he was an old party member who had been with the party for over 60 years. He insisted that he wouldn't quit the Party. I was not discouraged though. Whenever I had some time, I continued talking to him about it. Finally, he understood and happily quit the CCP. He often said silently, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good."
A few days later, the older man's back gradually straightened up. His family was elated, and he was discharged and headed for home. Since then, every time he went to the city, the man came to see me and expressed his appreciation. I told him that he should thank Teacher Li (the founder of Falun Dafa), as he was the one that helped him remove the illness.
One day after finishing work, I met a relative whose child was lying on a hospital gurney. He looked like he was in a lot of pain. After some inquiries, I learned that, at his school that day, he was set to run in a 100-meter dash race. But the minute the whistle blew, his right leg started to hurt. It was so painful that he couldn't walk. He was taken to the hospital, where an X-ray showed that he had a fracture. The orthopedic doctor said that he needed surgery. Then another orthopedic doctor said he needed to stay in bed for at least two months. The child was very afraid and refused to have surgery.
So I told the relative not to worry and that there would be a better way to help the child. After work, I went straight to his home. I told him that he would be well if he withdrew from the CCP's Young Pioneers and repeatedly said, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." He reminded me that he had already withdrawn from the organization so he wouldn't need to do it again. I remembered that he did withdraw last year. He said he had kept those two phrases in mind. I reminded him to say them repeatedly.
On the third day, the child's mother said that his leg didn't hurt anymore and had gone back to school.
Once again, Dafa's miracle is apparent through the experience of this child! The family saved money, the child was free from suffering and didn't have to miss school. The family was delighted and felt that they were blessed by Dafa!
One of my distant relatives was hospitalized with hepatitis accompanied by jaundice. He spent eight thousand dollars for treatment. A week after his discharge from the hospital, his son's eyes and his urine became yellow and he was also diagnosed with hepatitis.
The relative was quite worried and came to look for me. Ten years ago, eight thousand yuan was not a small amount of money for a farmer. I told his son that he might not need to go to the hospital at all. I first told him to quit the CCP and asked him to take a week off from work. Then at home, he would need to repeatedly say,"Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." He said that would be no problem and was able to do these things.
Within one week, the yellow color of his eyes reduced drastically, and his urine returned to normal. The whole family was overjoyed and grateful to Dafa!
One morning when I was at work, my sister-in-law brought her four-year-old grandson to the hospital to see me. Apparently, he experienced a lot of pain in his neck the previous night, and in the morning they found his parotid glands swollen on both sides of his neck. He cried non-stop and said he didn't want to take medicine or have any injections.
All my family members knew the facts related to the persecution of Falun Dafa. They knew that Falun Dafa was good despite seeing how my family suffered during the persecution. I told my brother and sister-in-law to teach the child to say "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" and they were also to say it to him.
Because we lived quite close to each other, after lunch I went over to their house to check on the boy. I saw that his swollen glands were reduced to half the size, and the youngster was in good spirits. After dinner, I went to see him again. This time, the swollen parotid glands had fully returned to normal.
Witnessing this miracle brought about by Dafa, the whole family was very excited, and everyone was totally convinced of the goodness of Falun Dafa.
