(Minghui.org) I was printing informational materials about Falun Dafa on the evening of June 28, 2017, when I heard a knock. I heard a man say, “We are from the police station, we would like to talk to you.”

I was caught by surprise and was a bit nervous. I have lived here for many years doing truth clarification work. No one knows about me except for practitioners. The local police have never bothered me.

I thought the officers found me because I had filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) who launched the persecution on Falun Dafa.

I wanted to hide the materials, so I told the officers to wait a bit.

After I hid the materials and the Falun Dafa books in a safe place, I stood in front of Master's picture and said, “This is a good opportunity to clarify the truth to the police. Please strengthen my righteous thoughts.” Something Master said came to mind:

“I am rooted in the universe. If anyone can harm you, he or she would be able to harm me. Put simply, that person would be able to harm this universe.” (Zhuan Falun)

I calmed down and felt that Master was next to me. Master said,

“...with the master and the Fa here what is there to fear?” (Lecture in Sydney)

I walked to the door and sent forth righteous thoughts to the police. I recited, “Disintegrate and eliminate all of the dark minions and rotten demons, destroy all elements of the Communist evil specter that are controlling the officers. Eradicate all evil that damages Dafa and persecutes practitioners. The Fa rectifies the cosmos, the Evil is completely eliminated! The Fa rectifies heaven and earth, immediate retribution in this lifetime!”

I opened the door and saw two officers in their 30s. The taller one took out a pen and a notepad, and the short one started to videotape me.

I said to him, “It is illegal to videotape me without my consent! I am a law-abiding citizen. Turn it off or I will ask you to leave my house!” He turned off the video recorder.

The taller officer asked for my identification card. I told him that I'd left it at my daughter's house. He then asked for the card number, and I said I couldn't remember it. I thought, “I do not want to fall in their trap. I want to tell them about Falun Dafa.”

I knew they'd come because I was a Dafa practitioner. I had filed a lawsuit against Jiang. I told them my story.

“Do you know why I practice Falun Dafa? My son fell ill when he was a sophomore in college and was hospitalized for 70 days. I took care of him 24 hours a day, and he passed away anyway.

“Do you know what it feels like to lose a child? My heart ached so much that I wanted to follow him and leave this world. I cried non-stop and could not sleep or eat. I felt dizzy every day, my legs trembled, and I was covered in sweat. My world was turned upside down, and I felt I had lost my soul.

“The emotional trauma affected my health. I had urethritis, cystitis, hematuria, and rheumatoid arthritis. I could not work, do any household chores, or cook. I was in great pain emotionally, mentally, physically. I had no desire to live. My condition dragged down the rest of my family.

“Just when I'd lost all hope, I learned about Falun Dafa. That was in November 1997. My illnesses disappeared after I started to practice it. Master Li, the founder of Dafa, taught me to be a good person. I understood the origin of all pain and suffering. I discovered the meaning of life and regained hope.

“Dafa gave me a healthy body and restored my moral values. I no longer compete for gains and profit, and I do not take advantage of others. One time I went to buy pork lung. The vendor gave me pork liver but charged me for the lesser price of the pork lung. I returned the difference to him and he was grateful. He could not believe there were still honest people in the world. I told him I practiced Falun Dafa, that I followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and put others first.

“I know both of you came here because I filed a complaint against Jiang. I will tell you why I sued him. Falun Dafa saved my life. Jiang abused his power and launched the persecution against us.

“I was illegally arrested in 2000, and it left my family traumatized. My 80-year-old mother was very distressed about my arrest and passed away soon after. My husband was in poor health after our son's death. He was very worried about me and passed away a few years ago.

“Jiang violated the constitution and the laws, brutally persecuted practitioners, and caused so much pain and agony for my family. Shouldn't I sue him for his wrongdoings?

They listened quietly and did not say anything. I told them that it was illegal for them to harass me, and they said they had no choice because the directive came from the top.

I continued, “You are young and inexperienced. During the Cultural Revolution, many police officers who persecuted the old cadres were shot and killed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). They were also following orders from the top. You should know that, according to the Police Law, officers are responsible for life for the proper handling of their cases. Your superiors are not responsible for your actions should a problem arise. You should be able to tell right from wrong.

“Falun Dafa practitioners follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and strive to be good and noble people. Understanding that Dafa is a good practice will benefit you and your family, and protecting practitioners will bring you blessings. The gods are watching!”

They nodded in agreement and asked if my daughter was supportive. I said “Yes!”

I am not well educated and my speech is awkward, but I was able to talk rationally and easily to the policemen. I felt that Master was near me and gave me wisdom and courage. Thank you, Master!
