(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Cyprus visited the seaside city of Larnaca on the afternoon of October 29, 2017. They introduced this mind-body cultivation practice beside the Medieval castle in the scenic Finikoudes Beach area.

The practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and distributed flyers to pedestrians.

It began raining during the exercise demonstration. Undeterred, the practitioners continued peacefully doing the exercises in the rain. A beautiful rainbow appeared afterwards as the sun broke through the clouds.

Tourists were intrigued by the practitioners who did not dodge the rain, and came back to watch the exercise demonstration again in the sunshine. Many of them were interested in the free Falun Gong classes held at a local park every weekend.

Visitors appreciated learning about the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong, including the state-sanctioned organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.

One woman said that she'd first heard about Falun Gong a few years ago after reading a flyer in her son's shop. She was interested in learning the exercises. A practitioner demonstrated the exercises for her and introduced the principles of Falun Gong: Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
