(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 12 were illegally arrested.

1. [Shanghai] Three Practitioners Arrested; Two of Them Sentenced

Ms. Wang Dongying, Mr. Zhan Guanrong, and Mr. Gu Xuexin from the Baoshan District were reported to the authorities for talking to people about Falun Gong in Dayu Town, Rudong County, Jiangsu Province, on November 11, 2016. They were arrested.

Ms. Wang was detained. Mr. Zhan and Mr. Gu were released on bail.

Ms. Wang was sentenced to a three-year prison term and Mr. Zhan to a one-year prison term on November 1, 2017.

2. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Zhenglan Detained

Ms. Sun Zhenglan was arrested at Ms. Sun Liping's apartment by officers from the Hongqi Police Department on October 21, 2017. She was detained for 15 days.

3. [Jingyu County, Jilin Province] Ms. Chen Shumei Detained

Ms. Chen Shumei was arrested by Yu Xuejun, head of the Jingyu County Domestic Security Division, for talking to people about Falun Gong on November 1, 2017. Yu confiscated her electric scooter, computer, MP5, photo of the founder of Falun Gong, and Falun Gong books.

Ms. Chen was held in the Baishan City Detention Center for 15 days.

4. [Tianjin] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Hou Guilan, Ms. Qin Jun, and Ms. Wu Jie were arrested by officers from the Changhong Police Station on November 1, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong in Changhong Park. They were taken to the Nankai Detention Center.

5. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Ding Shumei and Ms. Huang Liping Arrested

Ms. Ding Shumei and Ms. Huang Liping were arrested and their homes ransacked on October 30, 2017. A production site for printing Falun Gong truth-clarification materials was raided and destroyed by the police.

6. [Yishui County, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Gensong Detained

Mr. Liu Gensong was arrested by officers from the Guozhuang Police Station in Ju County on October 26, 2017. His home was ransacked.

Mr. Liu is being held in the Ju County Detention Center.

7. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Cheng Deliang and His Wife Ms. Tang Yulan Detained

Mr. Cheng Deliang and his wife Ms. Tang Yulan were arrested on September 30, 2017. They were detained.

Ms. Tang Yulan was taken to the Yantai Detention Center on November 1, 2017.

8. [Jing County, Hebei Province] Mr. Wan Dayu Detained

Mr. Wan Dayu from Wanzhuang Village, Sunzhen Township, was arrested by officers from the Jing County Police Department on October 31, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong on the phone. The officers confiscated his Falun Gong books.

Mr. Wan was taken to the Jing County Detention Center.

9. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Fengyun Sentenced to a Three-and-a-Half-Year Prison Term

Ms. Wang Fengyun was arrested at her home by officers from the Huayuan Police Station and the Weibei Police Station on the afternoon of January 10, 2017. She was sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term, and was taken to the Xinxiang No. 5 Women's Prison.

10. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Qiu Anmei Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Qiu Anmei from Matian Town, Yongxing County, was arrested by the market administrative personnel on the morning of October 26, 2017, when she was delivering Falun Gong materials.

Ms. Qiu is being held in a brainwashing center.

11. [Tongzi County, Guizhou Province] Ms. Ge Zhizhen's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Ge Zhizhen was arrested by officers from the Zunyi Domestic Security Division at the end of 2016. Her whereabouts are unknown.

12. [Kaili City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Dong Yongqian Arrested

Ms. Dong Yongqian, 44, was arrested on October 24, 2017.

13. [Huanren County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Guomei Detained

Ms. Yu Guomei was arrested on October 15, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials. She is being held in the Benxi City Detention Center.

Mr. Liu Changshan from the Xing'an District was arrested by officers from the Xing'anlu Police Station on the morning of October 16, 2017. He was held there for 15 days before being transferred to another location.
