(Minghui.org) In Germany’s state of Bavaria, local Falun Dafa practitioners participated in two festivals for children organized by Mittelbayersiche Zeitungsverlag and the cities of Newmarkt and Bayreuth in September 2017.

The Falun Gong group prepared many activities for children and their parents. They could learn the Falun Gong exercises, learn how to fold origami lotus flowers, and learn how to draw the Chinese characters of Zhen, Shan, Ren (which translate to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, the core principles of the practice of Falun Gong).

Some passersby were drawn to the peaceful scene and joined the kids to learn the exercises. Parents were pleased to see their children eager to participate.

People were very happy to learn that they could find instructional videos online for free.

A representative from the local Mittelbayersiche newspaper introduced Falun Dafa before each event. During the festival day in Neumarkt, an editor came to the Falun Dafa booth with a photographer to thank the practitioners for participating in the event.

The newspaper ran a report of the event and mentioned Falun Dafa on the following day.

The event gave people a chance to learn about the practice of Falun Dafa, as well as the 18-year-long persecution in China and the state-sanctioned organ harvesting atrocities that go with it. Many signed a petition against the persecution.
