The Beijing Policeman Who Collects Zhuan Falun

June 08, 2016 |   By a practitioner from China

(Minghui.org) When the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, the police in Beijing forcibly took away most of the Falun Gong books from practitioners during the ransacking of practitioners' homes and through intimidation.

One day a policeman in charge of my residential area bragged to me, “Although you practice Falun Gong, you may not have all of the Falun Gong books. We police have 'stolen' all the hardcover editions of Zhuan Falun that were confiscated by the police stations, and we stored them at our homes.”

“Why did you 'steal' the books?” I asked. He said, “You don't understand. One day when the Falun Gong issue is redressed, those books will be very valuable.”

This officer had read Zhuan Falun before the persecution began; so he knew that Falun Gong is good. Some other officers had also known the truth about Falun Gong, since right after the “April 25” peaceful appeal they were sent to various Falun Gong exercises sites and had close contacts with practitioners.

Beijing police are somewhat different from other local police. After experiencing the various political movements launched by the communist party, people in Beijing are not easily fooled by the Chinese Communist Party’s CCP's) lies. The officer told me he went to Tiananmen Square during the June 4 massacre in 1989 and witnessed the tragic scenes there.

Such efforts to collect Zhuan Falun books by Beijing policemen indicate that they have known the truth about Falun Gong since the beginning of the persecution, and they asserted that the persecution of Falun Gong by Jiang Zemin will definitely fail.

One day in 2015, I went to our residential community office with some Falun Gong materials. The community office leader said, “Give them to me. I will distribute them for you.” I handed them to him, and he said, “It's not enough. Just bring all you have, and I will help you distribute them.”

Since Falun Gong practitioners started to file legal complaints against Jiang Zemin, I have been delivering new pamphlets and CD-ROMs to them, and he always said, “Give them to me. I will help you distribute them.”

Once I brought some Chinese New Year couplets. As soon as I arrived at the door, he greeted me and said he would help me distribute them. The deputy leader simply grabbed my bag and took out the couplets, CD-ROMs, and the pamphlets and said, “Wow, great!” Before I left, they had already finished distributing the materials to everyone in the office, and people had started to read the couplets.
