1. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Blood Samples Taken from Approximately 30 Practitioners

Huang Shuicheng, an officer from the Qinhuai District Domestic Security Division and others, broke into Ms. Wu Xiurong's home and confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong and Falun Gong informational calendars on the afternoon of June 1, 2016. They forcibly took blood examples from her. She escaped by climbing down a rainwater pipe from the third floor. She cannot return home.

Based on preliminary reports, about 30 practitioners were forced to give blood samples in Nanjing. They are: Mr. Shao Minqin, Ms. Wang Meixiu, Ms. Dai Meiying, Ms. Chen Sulan, Mr. Zhu Zhulin, Mr. Gu Xiaoou, Mr. Huang Liansheng, Ms. Guan Hongzhen, Ms. Chen Cuilan, Ms. Fang Yihong, Ms. Xiong Guiyun, Ms. Qiu Hongyu, Mr. Pan Shiquan, Mr. Liu Yunhua, Ms. Chen Yinhua, Ms. Dong Qing, practitioners with the last name of Ma, Chen, Shao, Dai, Sheng, Wu, Xing, Xie, and three practitioners with the last name of Wang.

Ms. Ji Jianxia, Ms. Xiong Guizhen, Ms. Zhang Chaomei, Ms. Pan Hanyu and two other practitioners were tried at the Xuanwu District No. 1 Court in the Suojincun Residential District on May 31, 2016. Zhang Zanning and several other lawyers pleaded not guilty on behalf of the six practitioners. During the hearing, about 100 heavily armed officers from the Nanjing City 610 Office and the Police Department gathered outside the court to prevent practitioners, friends and families from attending the hearing. Some practitioners were taken to the police station. The officers forcibly took their fingerprints and toe prints. Some practitioners' blood samples were taken as well.

2. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Three Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Ding Xiuzhen, 63, was harassed by three women and three men, who claimed to be from the residential community, on the afternoon of June 1, 2016 for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese Communist Party leader who initiated the persecution of Falun Gong. The men and women forced their way into Ms. Ding's home and ransacked it. They took photos and made video recordings. They confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong. Ms. Ding walked away from her home while these people were busy ransacking the place.

Ms. Zhang Huimei was harassed by administrative personnel from the neighborhood and the community on June 3, 2016 for suing Jiang Zemin. They took photos and made video recordings. They also asked Ms. Zhang to sign paperwork. Mr. Guo Fu, an elderly practitioner, was also harassed by residential community staff on the same day for suing Jiang Zemin.

3. [Hu County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Xiao Chunhong and Ms. Wang Hua Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Xiao Chunhong and Ms. Wang Hua were each sentenced to two years in prison by the Hu County Court on June 7, 2016.

4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Shujia and Mr. Qi Xiangyang Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Sun Shujia from the Yuhong District was sentenced to three years and two months in prison. Mr. Qi Xiangyang was sentenced to three years in prison by the Shenhe District Court.

5. [Qingyang City, Gansu Province] Ms. Gao Runqin Missing for Three Years

Ms. Gao Runqin, in her 50s, from Liunian Village, Dongzhi Town, Xifeng District, was held in the Heshui County Detention Center. She has been missing for three years. Her family has been looking for her everywhere.

6. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Yang Xiuyun and Mr. Zhu Jingrong Arrested

Ms. Yang Xiuyun and Mr. Zhu Jingrong from Tianyi Town in Ningcheng County were arrested by officers from the Ningcheng County Domestic Security Division when they talked to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of June 7, 2016. They were taken to the county detention center. It was reported that each practitioner was detained for 15 days and fined 1,000 yuan.

7. [Qingtongxia City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Chen Chen Faces Trial

Ms. Chen Chen was arrested by officers from the Chengguan Police Station on the evening of December 21, 2015. The officers ransacked her home the next morning, and confiscated Falun Gong books. She has been held in the Qingtongxia City Detention Center. The Qingtongxia City Court has scheduled a trial on June 16, 2016.

8. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Zhenzhu Forced to Leave Home

Over 20 officers from the Chengnan Police Station in Zichuan District again harassed Ms. Ma Zhenzhu in Nanshi Village in Kunlun Town on June 1, 2016 for suing Jiang Zemin. They attempted to arrest her, but she was not home.

When the officers learned that she worked at a construction site, they went there. When Ms. Ma heard that they were coming, she left. Now, she has to stay away from home.

9. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Ailing and Ms. Xiao Shuling Taken Into Custody

Ms. Zhang Ailing and Ms. Xiao Shuling from the Hongdao Residential District in the Chengyang District were arrested by officers from the Shangma Police Station when they talked to people about Falun Gong on the morning of June 11, 2016. Their homes were ransacked that afternoon. Both are held in the police station.

10. [Yulin City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Yang Xiaoding and Ms. Li Ailian Detained

Ms. Yang Xiaoding and Ms. Li Ailian were arrested by Yang Tao, head of the Hengshan County 610 Office, and Li Xinchun, head of the Domestic Security Division, while they were distributing Falun Gong informational materials on May 25, 2016. Both were taken to the Jingbian County Detention Center. Ms. Li has returned home. Ms. Yang remains in the detention center.

Police officers, led by Yang Tao and Li Xinchun, ransacked both practitioners' homes that day. They confiscated a computer, which belongs to Ms. Yang's child, a copying machine, and a printer from Ms. Yang's home. They also confiscated Falun Gong books from Ms. Li's home.

11. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Chunyan Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Wang Chunyan from Xinzhaizi Town in Ganjingzi District was arrested on August 16, 2015 for telling people about Falun Gong. She was later sentenced to three years in prison by the Ganjingzi District Court. She was transferred to the Liaoning Women's Prison on May 31, 2016.

12. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Zhang Liyu and Ms. Jiang Yanmei Taken into Custody

Ms. Zhang Liyu from Fuzhou City and Ms. Jiang Yanmei from Yongtai County were arrested when they talked to people about Falun Gong on June 10, 2016. Both were held in the Shangdu Police Station.

13. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Fengjun Arrested

Ms. Gao Fengjun from Yuhong District was reported and arrested when she talked to people about Falun Gong at the Donghu Farmers Market on the afternoon of June 9, 2016. She was taken to the Yingbinlu Police Station.

14. [Chongqing] Mr. Jiang Zhongbi Arrested

Mr. Jiang Zhongbi from Nanping Town in the Nan'an District was arrested while he was distributing Falun Gong informational materials on the morning of May 29, 2016. He was taken into custody. His whereabouts are unknown.

15. [Tianjin] Ms. Dai Xizhen Faces Trial

Ms. Dai Xizhen, in her 70s, a professor retired from Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has been held in the Nankai District Detention Center for almost eight months for suing Jiang Zemin. She is facing charges from the Procuratorate.
