(Minghui.org) There are still practitioners who are involved in multi-level marketing. This is a strategy in which the sales force is compensated not only for sales they generate, but also for the sales of the salespeople that they recruit.
They refuse to listen to fellow practitioners' advice, and everyone is worried about them.
Master has talked about multi-level marketing more than once, and I think all genuine Dafa practitioners have read what Master said. Then why are some practitioners still doing it? In some areas, those who participate are adversely affecting fellow practitioners and impeding cooperation in validating the Fa.
A common attachment that practitioners who participate in multi-level marketing have is greed and a strong desire for money.
Faced with the same lies over and over again, most people know not to believe them. So why do some people end up believing these lies? It is because these practitioners are so attached to money and material benefits that they cannot resist the temptation. They will then use the excuse that it is legal under China's laws. In fact, they are simply trying to conceal their greed.
We want to remind practitioners who think this way of two things. First, from an ordinary person's aspect, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has never publicly recognized that multi-level marketing is legal. But remember that the CCP never keeps its word, so what is legal today may be illegal tomorrow. We all know that nothing the CCP says can be trusted, so why do we want to believe what we are told? Doesn't this have to do with being attached to material interests? Isn't it caused by greed?
Second, from a practitioner's point of view, can we really do anything we want just because it's legal in China? Who are we and what do we need to follow? Are the laws in the human world the standard for Dafa practitioners? When faced with material interests and temptations, can our minds be firm and unmoved, or do we find excuses to cover up our attachments? The latter is what the evil old forces hope for.
Some practitioners who are involved in multi-level marketing have a strong attachment to greed as well as other attachments. Rumors are spread about a number of high yield projects, and practitioners are deceived by these lies.
How can practitioners be deceived by these things? If one does not want power and authority and does not desire big things, how can one be dazzled by this nonsense?
Some people may recongize it's a trap but think they know how to avoid it. What they fail to realize is that, once they are lured in, they will be controlled by evil factors, and their thoughts will no longer be theirs. In that state, they can no longer do things for the Fa-rectification.
For those practitioners who follow what others do and get involved in multi-level marketing, it is likely that they are too used to depending on others and cannot think think for themselves.
Multi-level marketing is not an honest sales technique. Its proponents claim that it provides jobs and freedom. Classes and discussions are offered so that people can get a feel for it. The goal, however, is to promote and sell its own products.
From top to bottom, each level skims off more of the profits, and the end result is that the majority of people will be cheated. The foundation of multi-level marketing is based on greed. No matter how many different variations of this technique there are, the goal is always to make money.
What ordinary people do is their choice. But for Dafa practitioners, what does it mean to get involved in multi-level marketing? It's destroying oneself and destroying others!
Some practitioners who were once involved in multi-level marketing but were able to wake up and get out of it described what it was like. It was as if their bodies and minds were being controlled by other forces. They participated in many sales-related activies every day and kept so busy that they had almost no time to think for themselves.
That is why it is so hard for fellow practitioners to try to talk to those who participate in multi-level marketing and try to get them out of it. Once someone gets involved, he loses control of his own mind. If he doesn't have a strong main consciousness, he definitely will be lost.
Master talked about this a long time ago. Master said that practitioners cannot participate in multi-level marketing, and we all heard it. So why do some of us continue to violate Master's teaching? Where are we positioning ourselves if we go against Master's teaching? We must wake up immediately!
