According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 16 were illegally arrested. Several practitioners seeking to mail letters of complaint regarding Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme Court have met with obstacles.

Ms. Li Yuhuan was arrested on April 7, 2016, for posting informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was detained for 15 days.

Ms. Zhao Jing and Mr. He Lizhong were arrested by officers from the Jianshe Police Station in Wanghua District on April 15, 2016. Ms. Zhao is detained at the Nangou Detention Center but Mr. He was refused because he failed the physical examination. He was taken back to Jianshe Police Station.

Mr. Lin Jinliang was arrested by officers on March 24, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was taken to the Dongsheng Farm Brainwashing Center.

18. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Cao Qicai Sentenced

Mr. Cao Qicai was arrested by officers from the Wujia Town Police Station on August 3, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. He was tried by Shuangcheng Court on November 19, 2015, and sentenced to a four year prison term on December 10. He appealed, but the original sentence was upheld. Mr. Cao was taken to Xinjian Prison on April 13, 2016.
