(Minghui.org) Mr. Wang Yuyue is a Falun Gong practitioner from the Daiyue District, Taian City, Shandong Province. He was told that some people were looking for him on the afternoon of February 29, 2016.
When he turned into the alley towards his house, he saw two policemen and another man in plainclothes sitting on his neighbor's bench waiting for him.
One of the officers asked, in a serious tone, “Have you mailed a letter to the central government recently?”
Mr. Wang told them that he had mailed a letter to the Supreme People's Procuratorate to sue Jiang Zemin for ordering the persecution of Falun Gong, depriving people's freedom of belief.
When one of the officers asked why he had chosen to complain now, after so many years of practicing Falun Gong, he replied, “It's because the legal system reformed on May 1, 2015, and the Supreme People's Court stated that it would guarantee the registration and processing of all complaints.”
Mr. Wang told the officers that Falun Gong teaches people to be good by following the principles of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” The exercises can improve practitioners' health, harmonize the relationship among family members, increase their moral standard, thereby benefiting the individuals, their families and society.
“I filed the complaint with my real name and address,” Mr. Wang added. “All of the information I put in the letter is the truth. Practicing Falun Gong doesn't break any law, but the persecution against us is a crime. Please don't follow any orders to harass Falun Gong practitioners any more.”
“We were ordered to verify your lawsuit,” an officer replied. “Please don't be upset with us being here.”
Mr. Wang accompanied the officers to their car, which was parked along the main road. One of the officers encouraged Mr. Wang to practice the exercises diligently and to show respect to Master Li, the founder of Falun Gong.
Mr. Wang said that he would.
