1. [Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Yuan Hang Arrested Twice for Suing Jiang

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Sanheng Detained

1. [Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Yuan Hang Arrested Twice for Suing Jiang

Ms. Yuan Hang was arrested and detained in February 2016 for filing a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese leader who initiated the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999. Procuratorate agents and Domestic Security Division officers made the arrest. Her home was ransacked. She was arrested again on March 21 and detained for 10 days.

2.[Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Dong Mei Detained

Ms. Dong Mei from the Changqing District was arrested on March 22, 2016, for suing Jiang Zemin by officers from the Changqing Police Station. She was incarcerated for two days at the Jinan No. 3 Detention Center.

3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Yilian and Ms. Ma Liangxiang Detained

Ms. Song Yilian, age 67, and Ms. Ma Liangxiang, over 60, were arrested on the morning of March 24, 2016, by plainclothes officers from the Changjianglu Police Station while they were talking to people about Falun Gong. They were detained for 10 days at the Pudong Detention Center.

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Sanheng Detained

Mr. Wang Sanheng from Helong Town, Nong'an County, was taken away at noon on April 7, 2016, by plainclothes officers who claimed they were verifying materials. Mr. Wang is incarcerated at the Nong'an County Detention Center.
