(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 19 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Mr. Li Baorong was arrested by officers from the Huanghe Boulevard Police Station in the Development Zone when he talked to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of March 19, 2016. He was taken to the police station. The officers ransacked his home.

2. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Ms. Zhang Yanli Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Zhang Yanli was placed under criminal detention on January 6, 2015. She was sentenced to three years in prison by the Fengqiu County Court. Ms. Zhang appealed to the Xinxiang City Intermediate Court. The court secretly issued a sentence without a hearing, upholding the original ruling. Ms. Zhang was taken to the Henan Province Women's Prison in early February 2016.

3. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Guo Yutian and Ms. Wang Lixia Arrested

Mr. Guo Yutian and Ms. Wang Lixia from Laiyuan County were arrested by officers from the Wulonggou Township Police Station when they talked to people about Falun Gong in Xiaozhuang Village in Wulonggou Township on the morning of April 3, 2016. Both practitioners were taken to the Laiyuan County Domestic Security Division. They returned home that afternoon.

4. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Xuedong Arrested

Mr. Liu Xuedong, from Xiaoliujia Village, Zhangxing Town, Zhaoyuan City, was arrested by officers from the Zhangxing Town Police Station when they talked to people about Falun Gong on the morning of April 2, 2016. His whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Zhang Tieli, 60, was arrested by plainclothes officers when he distributed Falun Gong informational materials on the afternoon of April 5, 2016.

6. [Beijing] Ms. Dang Fengxia Detained

Ms. Dang Fengxia, from Xitiangezhuang Town in Miyun County, was arrested on March 4, 2016. The police confiscated printed materials and Falun Gong books. Ms. Dang was taken to the Chaoyang District Detention Center for 10 days of detention.

7. [Beijing] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Dong Xiurong, Ms. Yin Xiaoqin, Ms. Zhang Guizhi, and Ms. Xu Meihua, from the Daxing District, were arrested by officers from the Lixian Police Station when they talked to people about Falun Gong at the Daxinzhuang Farmers' Market in Lixian Town on the afternoon of April 4, 2016. 8. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Mingli Detained

Ms. Wang Mingli was arrested by Ma Jingda and other officers from the Sangang Police Station on the afternoon of April 5, 2016. The officers confiscated Falun Gong books, a notebook computer, and a printer. She was taken to the Nong'an County Detention Center.

9. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Ms. Liu Zizhen Arrested

Ms. Liu Zizhen, 60, from Chahua Town, was arrested by officers from the Chahua Town Police Station on March 29, 2016. Her whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Guiqin and Ms. Sun Weizhen Arrested

Ms. Zhang Guiqin and Ms. Sun Weizhen were arrested by patrol officers from the Jixian Police Station when they talked to people about Falun Gong on April 4, 2016. The officers confiscated Falun Gong books, a computer, and currency bills with Falun Gong content. Both were released the following day because they had high blood pressure.

11. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yuan Fengjie Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Yuan Fengjie from the Jinzhou District was arrested by officers from the Dongjiagou Police Station on March 9, 2015. Subsequently, she was sentenced to three years in prison by the Jinzhou District Court. Her appeal to the Dalian Intermediate Court was rejected. Ms. Yuan was taken to the Liaoning Women's Prison on March 29, 2016.

12. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Yan Xiaozhuan Taken into Custody

Mr. Yan Xiaozhuan from the Fengrun District was arrested by officers from the Yanshan Road Police Station in the Fengrun District on the afternoon of March 31, 2016. The officers confiscated a computer, a van, Falun Gong books, and printed materials. Mr. Yan was held in the police station.

13. [Rong County, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Zhu Yuying and three other practitioners from Changshan Town, were arrested by officers from the State Security Division of the Shannan area in Tibet on March 31, 2016. The four practitioners were detained for 15 days.

14. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Cheng Jinzhi and Ms. Li Junying Sentenced to Prison

The Ranghulu District Court sentenced Ms. Cheng Jinzhi to seven and a half years in prison, and Ms. Li Junying to seven years. Both practitioners appealed to the intermediate court.

15. [Tumen City, Jilin Province] Ms. Cui Mingshu Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Cui Mingshu was sentenced to four and a half years in prison at the end of March 2016. She is held in the Yanji Detention Center.

16. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhou Yuqin Detained

Ms. Zhou Yuqin, 68, was arrested by officers from the Hanjiadun Police Station on the morning of March 18, 2016. She was detained for 15 days in the Erzhigou Detention Center. After the 15 days she was transferred somewhere else. Her whereabouts are unknown.

17. [Heze City, Shandong Province] Mr. Shan Xianzhi Arrested

Mr. Shan Xianzhi, from Tiangongmiao Town, Chengwu County, was arrested by officers from the local police department and his hometown police department on the morning of March 30, 2016. He was taken back to his hometown. His whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Yu Wenhua was arrested by officers from the Dunhua Police Department on the morning of April 6, 2016.

19. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Zhang Xiwen Taken Into Custody

Mr. Zhang Xiwen from Miluo City was arrested by officers from the Qingshansi Police Station in the Quyuan Management District when he distributed Falun Gong informational materials at noon on April 6, 2016. Mr. Zhang is being held in the police station.
