(Minghui.org) I recently bought dinner using bills that were marked with messages about Falun Dafa and the persecution. When the restaurant owner read the messages on the bills, he said, “Jiang Zemin is a rotten man!”
I agreed, and told him there were now 200,000 people suing Jiang for the role he played in the persecution of Falun Dafa. I also asked him if he had withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. He replied, “I’ve already quit the Party! I did it over the phone.”
Other customers were listening as he continued talking. “Falun Dafa is a good practice,” he said. “And Jiang Zemin has done a lot of bad things, including his order of forced organ harvesting from living Falun Dafa practitioners. That is so cruel!” He knew that quitting the CCP would bring protection from future disasters. He encouraged his customers to quit as well.
I told him about Falun Dafa's popularity in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and about the “hidden words stone” in Guizhou Province. He made a note and said he would research more on the Internet.
Before leaving the restaurant, I gave him a copy of anti-censorship software and some materials about Falun Dafa. He thanked me, and said he already had fliers and other materials at home. He said that had read them all.
On another day, I bought a baked potato from a street vendor, and asked him if he had renounced the CCP. He replied that because of the CCP's corruption, he had never joined. He also said he knew about the goodness of Falun Dafa, and he took some informational brochures from me.
When a washing machine repairman came to fix the washer, I took the opportunity to encourage him to withdraw from the CCP. He immediately agreed, so I helped him find the “Quitting the CCP Service Center” website on my computer. He quit the Party right then and there. He also said he was interested in learning Falun Dafa.
I once offered to help a colleague withdraw from the Party. She said that some CCP members had asked her to join, but she refused. When she sees me now, she often shouts “Falun Dafa is good!”
I have talked to all my neighbors about Falun Dafa. Many of them dislike the CCP, and quite a few have asked me for Falun Dafa wall calendars. Some have even hung the calendars in their shops. More and more people around me are learning that Falun Dafa is good, and that the persecution is wrong.
