(Minghui.org) For the past sixteen years, Falun Gong practitioners in China have been persistently telling people about Falun Gong and the persecution through various means, such as giving out booklets, calendars and DVDs that contain information about Falun Gong. Such material have become increasingly popular in recent years.
In addition, more and more Chinese people have chosen to express their unhappiness with the Communist Party by withdrawing from the Party and its affiliated organizations. Falun Gong practitioners are helping spread the information and register their compatriots' statements.
I met an older man in his seventies one day. “Would you like to have a desk calendar with information on how Falun Dafa [another name for Falun Gong] has spread around the world?” I asked.
“Yes, of course,” he replied. “Falun Gong is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. People in Taiwan practice it freely. Chinese people lack Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance nowadays. China needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance!”
Later, this gentleman agreed to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
One day, I showed a fruit vendor a Chinese New Year painting with Falun Gong information on it, and asked if he would like to have one. He gladly accepted it.
I then asked him if he had withdrawn from the CCP. Embarrassed, he said, “Not yet, I am still a CCP member!” He then agreed to withdraw from the CCP using his real name.
I met a middle-aged man at labor market once. When I gave him a DVD, he said to me, “I am from the same town as Master Li [the founder of Falun Gong]. I have read his book before. I am proud to have such a famous person from my hometown.”
One afternoon, I was passing out copies of Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party at a farmer's market. A policeman walked up to me and said, “How come you are passing this out here?”
“Here is one for you! Whoever reads it will be blessed,” I told him. He said, “Don't you know there are police here? Go over there [to pass these out]!” So I kept walking and continued to pass out the booklets.
Since I always hand out Falun Gong materials at a market, many vendors know me. One time, a vegetable vendor saw that I still had a dozen DVDs. He said to me, “Why not give those to me and I will help you distribute them. I'll just give one out to whomever is buying vegetable from me.”
Another time I saw someone planting a tree, and I gave him a DVD. He said, “Please give me a few more. I will help you give them out.” When I asked if he had withdrawn from CCP, he said, “I joined the Communist Youth League and the Communist Party when I was in the military. Please help me withdraw.” As I was leaving, he shook hands with me and said earnestly, “Please make sure you help me withdraw.”
