Mr. Yu Wuping was sentenced to a three-year prison term by the Yuanzhou District Court on August 10, 2016.

Ms. Hou Yuanping, an English teacher of Beihai High School, was arrested on April 15, 2013, for playing the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party DVD in class. She was tried on September 20, 2016.

3. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ten Practitioners Arrested

Ten practitioners were arrested by officers from the Changchun City Domestic Security Division and Dehui City Domestic Security Division in September 2016.

Ms. Zhang Fengqiu, Ms. Yang Jinyu, Ms. Yang Jinfeng, Mr. Wang Changshun, and Ms. Hao Jie were arrested on September 21. Ms. Li Ruifeng, Mr. Hu Bo, Mr. Cui Tao, Mr. Ma, and Ms. Zhang Chuanfang were arrested the next day.

Ms. Wang Yunxiang, who was released on bail, was arrested again at home by officers from the Dadushe Police Station on September 23, 2016.

Ms. Tang Manzhi was arrested by plainclothes officers on September 23, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to Chengguan Police Station and has been detained there since.

Ms. Xu Genying was arrested by officers from Yuanzhou District Domestic Security Division on September 22, 2016, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

9. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Mr. Huang Yuanqiao and Ms. Zeng Xiaoying Detained

Mr. Huang Yuanqiao and Ms. Zeng Xiaoying were arrested on September 22, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are detained at Chengzhong Police Station in Hecheng District.

10. [Linjiang City, Jilin Province] Mr. Chi Minbao and Ms. Li Shulan Arrested

Mr. Chi Minbao and his wife Ms. Li Shulan were arrested at home on September 22, 2016. The police ransacked their home.

11. [Changsha County, Hunan Province] Mr. Liu Zhengwei Detained

Mr. Liu Zhengwei was arrested at home by officers from Changsha Police Department, Langli Police Station, and 610 Office on September 22, 2016. The police confiscated Falun Gong books, computers, cell phones, printers, and other personal items. He was taken to the Huilong Detention Center.

12. [Puyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Jialan Arrested

Ms. Wang Jialan was arrested on September 21, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, a printer, Falun Gong informational materials, and other personal belongings.

13. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Bai Chunxiang Arrested

Ms. Bai Chunxiang was arrested and taken to the Liaocheng Detention Center on September 20, 2016, for posting stickers having information about the persecution of Falun Gong on them.

Ms. Gu Zhiguang was arrested by officers from the Qionglai City Police Department on September 6, 2016. She is held at the Tudipo Detention Center.

Mr. Liao Zegui was arrested at home by officers from the Bazhou District Domestic Security Division on August 20, 2016. The police confiscated a computer, a printer, and other personal items. He is held at the Bazhong Detention Center.

16. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhang Quanmin Arrested

Mr. Zhang Quanmin was arrested at home by officers from the Dianjiang County Police Station on September 22, 2016. He was taken to Dianjiang County.
