1. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Lou Yuejun and Ms. Bian Aina Sentenced

Mr. Lou Yuejun and Ms. Bian Aina from the Bayuquan District were put on trial for the second time on December 18, 2015. Mr. Lou was sentenced to an eight-year prison term, and Ms. Bian to seven-years-and-six months. Both practitioners have appealed to a higher court.

2. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wang Shangda Detained

Mr. Wang Shangda from Yangguidian Village, Zigui County, Yichang City, was arrested by officers from the Zigui County 610 Office and the Maoping Town Police Station on December 30, 2015. He was taken to the Maoping Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

3. [Xiangfan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Shan Furong and Ms. Bao Xiulan Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Mr. Shan Furong and Ms. Bao Xiulan, employees at the Jiangshan Machinery Plant, Laohekou City, were arrested by Zhou Jianwei and officers from the Laohekou City Domestic Security Division, along with staff from the Public Security Division of the Jiangshan Machinery Plant, on December 7, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese communist regime. Ms. Bao was held for seven days before she was released. Mr. Shan remains in custody in the Laohekou City Detention Center.

4. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Yang Jianping and Ms. Guo Xianyan Detained

Mr. Yang Jianping and Ms. Guo Xianyan from Dean County were arrested for talking to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of January 1, 2016. They were held in the county detention center.

5. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Mr. Yao Changhai was arrested on December 24, 2015. He was held for one month.

Ms. Zhao Liya was arrested on the same day. She was held for ten days.

Mr. Huang Jinfeng and Ms. Sun Chunhua were arrested on December 26, 2015. They were held for ten days.

6. [Chongqing] Six Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

The Kai County Court sentenced Mr. Wei Jiuqin to four-years-and-three months in prison, Mr. Wu Lixing to three- years-and-three-months, and Mr. Luo Min to seven-years-and-six months, on November 10, 2015.

Ms. Wei Jiufu was given a three-year prison term, Ms. Tang Chengbi four years, and Ms. Zhong Tingju four-years-and-six months, by the Kai County Court on December 17, 2015.

7. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Yufang, Ms. Zhang Zhilan, Ms. Zhao Guilan, Ms. Ai Weixia, and Ms. Zhang Yapu, from Nanqingtuo Village, Xiaozhanggezhuang Town, Fengrun District, were arrested on the afternoon on December 31, 2015, by officers from the Sanshuitou Town Police Station in Yutian County, for telling people about Falun Gong.

Ms. Zhao, Ms. Ai, and Ms. Zhang Yapu were released after officers extorted 1,000 yuan from them.

Ms. Wang and Ms. Zhang Zhilan were taken to the Yutian County Detention Center.

8. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Cui Huifang Tried

Ms. Cui Huifang, a retired judicial officer, was tried by the Qianjin District Court on October 20, 2015.

She was sentenced to two years in prison on November 30, 2015. She hired a lawyer to submit an appeal of her sentence to the Jiamusi Intermediate Court on December 9, 2015.

9. [Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Zheng Jin Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Zheng Jin, 58, was arrested by officers from the Wucheng Police Department in April 2015 for posting Falun Gong informational materials. He was sentenced to three years in prison by the Wucheng District Court.

10. [Yakeshi City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Liang Ruihong and Ms. Wang Chunfan Detained

Ms. Liang Ruihong and Ms. Wang Chunfan were arrested on December 17, 2015, by officers from the Xingong Police Station, for talking to people about Falun Gong. The officers forcibly took blood samples and fingerprints, and also photographed them. They were detained for five and eight days, respectively.

11. [Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Officers from the Shaowen Township Police Station arrested Mr. Lu, Mr. Wang Benqing, and Mr. Zhao Xingyang around December 10, 2015. The three practitioners were detained for 15 days in the Fuyu County Detention Center.

Mr. Wang Zewei from Xiaohabo Village was arrested on December 7, 2015, by Xu Rong, director of the Taha Township Police Station, and other officers, for suing Jiang Zemin. He was detained for seven days in the Fuyu County Detention Center.

Ms. Li Yuping and Ms. Fan Chunhua were arrested on December 14, 2015, by police, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Both practitioners are held in the facility formerly known as Zhengzhou City No. 3 Forced Labor Camp.

13. [Heyuan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Niangxin Whereabouts are Unknown

Ms. Li Niangxin was arrested by officers from the Dayawan 610 Office in Huizhou City on December 31, 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

14. [Penglai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Han Mingxiu Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Mr. Han Mingxiu was arrested by officers from the Dongguan Police Station on December 31, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. He is detained in the Beigou Detention Center.

15. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Ruiqin Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Zhang Ruiqin, an employee at the Sankuan Primary School, Fengfeng Mining Area, was recently arrested by officers from the Dayu Town Police Station for suing Jiang Zemin. She was held in the Handan No. 1 Detention Center.
