(Minghui.org) Note from the editors: After leaving China, some practitioners distributed Shen Yun DVDs to overseas Chinese. As a result, these people watched the Shen Yun videos and refused to buy tickets to watch it in theaters. This has undermined the effect of Shen Yun.
I felt really sad after reading the Minghui Editorial, “Shen Yun Videos Are Strictly Prohibited from Being Taken Outside China.” This is another example of practitioners in mainland China who are not following Teacher's requirements. By acting on their human notions, they have interfered with Shen Yun and caused damage.
Such irresponsible actions happen because of indoctrination by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) throughout mainland China. There is not a single place in China where indoctrination is not a fact of life. People no longer are aware of it because of the many years they have lived in that society.
Many year ago Teacher said,
“So once you get the books, you should destroy the videotapes you had passed around in different regions.” (“Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. Fa Conference”)
There were some practitioners who did not comply with Teacher’s requirements. They claimed that they would save the recordings for their personal use and would not pass them on to others. They also ignored reminders from fellow practitioners. Many of these practitioners later developed various illnesses and some became so ill that they could not take care of themselves.
When a practitioner does not listen to Teacher, it will create a loophole for the old forces to take advantage of. The consequences not only ruined the cultivation of such practitioners, but also had a negative affect on their family members and friends.
Similar actions are now being taken again. Some practitioners have brought Shen Yun videos out of China. By taking these videos outside of China, these practitioners have created a negative situation overseas.
If this continues and as a result, practitioners in China no longer have access to Shen Yun videos, who will be responsible for the losses? And what would it mean for the practitioners who caused these losses?

“Without listening to me or following the requirements of Dafa, how could you be my disciples? Isn’t this going against Dafa? If this isn’t an act of harming Dafa, what is it? My disciples, you shouldn’t always be unaware of these things until I point them out. In fact, everything is included in the Fa. Why not read the books more? I suggest that everyone set his mind to reading ten times the book I wrote, Essentials for Further Advancement, which you call scripture. When your mind isn’t at peace, studying the Fa is not effective. You should study it with a peaceful mind.” (“A Heavy Blow” in “Essentials for Further Advancement”)
I hope we can all stop our negative actions and do better concerning Teacher's requirements.
