Officers From Domestic Security Division Release Falun Gong Practitioners In Front of Village Policemen

January 01, 2016 |   By a Falun Gong practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) Four of us Falun Gong practitioners went to remote villages in the mountains on September 20, 2015, to talk to people about Falun Gong and help them quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

The road we took led us to a large village. We talked to people along the route, passing out Falun Gong informational materials and telling people about the practice and the persecution.

We met an 88-year-old woman who was a CCP member and had been a party official. We talked to her about Falun Gong, its principle of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance”, the persecution and the corruption in the CCP. She willingly quit the party and said “Falun Dafa is good” twice.

We talked to an older man on a bridge and gave him a leaflet to take home to pass on to his family members.

A young man stopped to talk to us as he rode by on a bike. Upon hearing the facts about Falun Gong he used his real name to quit the Youth League, an affiliate to the Communist Party. Some people choose not to use their real names when withdrawing their membership from the CCP, as they are afraid of reprisals from the authorities.

As we walked further we met a couple harvesting corn in the field. We offered the man a leaflet but he refused to take it.

Soon after, two policemen in a patrol car stopped us.

We knew someone had informed the police, but we were not afraid and didn't comply with their demands.

We tried to persuade them to let us go, but they didn't listen. I said, “We are not afraid even if you take us to the police department. The police there already know Falun Gong is good and will release us. However, if you release us now, good fortune will come to you as it was your decision to let us go. It also means you will receive great virtue for your actions.”

The older policeman stopped shouting at us and softened his tone. However, the younger one didn't listen and was determined to take us to the county police department.

When the patrol car arrived at the police department, the two officers from the car took us to the Domestic Security Division. In the office, we were asked our names and addresses and were immediately released in front of the two officers.
