September 08, 2015 |   By a Minghui correspondent from Heilongjiang Province, China

(Minghui.org) The Domestic Security Division in Harbin City has ordered local police stations to harass Falun Gong practitioners who have filed criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist regime.

As a result, practitioners Mr. Yu Zhuan Yuan, Mr. Pan Chen, and Ms. Mou Shuqin were illegally arrested and detained.

Mr. Pan Chen from Xinhua Town was arrested at home on August 31, 2015. No further details are known.

Mr. Yu Zhuan Yuan Detained for 10 Days

Mr. Yu Zhuan Yuan, from Xinhua Town, was at home when five officers from the Xinli Police Station broke into his home on the morning of August 28, 2015.

The police demanded that he explain his lawsuit against Jiang. Mr. Yu and his wife told them the reasons for the lawsuit and warned them not to harass law-abiding citizens. The policemen videotaped them, so Mr. Yu's wife took photos of the policemen. The police tried without success to confiscate her camera.

The police then tried to arrest the couple. Mr. Yu's wife resisted. Mr. Yu was taken away and police said that he would be detained for 10 days at the Acheng No. 2 Detention Center.

Ms. Mou Shuqin Detained for 7 Days

Ms. Mou Shuqin, a teacher, was arrested by police at her school on August 28, the first day of the school year. She was taken to the Acheng Police Department and then transferred to the Harbin Detention Center.

Her family was told that she would be detained for seven days because she filed a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin.

Background

In 1999, Jiang Zemin, as head of the Chinese Communist Party, overrode other Politburo standing committee members and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.

The persecution has led to the deaths of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners over the past 16 years. More have been tortured for their belief and even killed for their organs. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.

Under his personal direction, the Chinese Communist Party established an extralegal security organ, the 610 Office, on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang's directive regarding Falun Gong: to ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.

Chinese law now allows for citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
