(Minghui.org) I am a 70-year-old Falun Gong practitioner who lives in the center of town in the countryside. I mailed a criminal complaint against former dictator Jiang Zemin for persecuting Falun Gong in June 2015 to the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate. My complaint was accepted the next day.
I was encouraged by the success and thought that I should help fellow practitioners in my hometown to file criminal complaints against Jiang. I shared the importance of filing criminal complaints against Jiang with practitioners and many agreed to do so.
However, some said they did not know how to go about it. I encouraged them and said that I already wrote mine. However, there are many older practitioners in the countryside who are illiterate. Therefore, we decided to encourage everyone to write their own complaints if they could, and help practitioners who could not write. I went home, prepared seven complaints and asked practitioners to print them.
Since the post office is far from my hometown, three practitioners went to mail the complaints and all others continuously sent forth righteous thoughts.
On arrival at the post office, the three clarified the truth about Falun Gong to the postal clerks. They also told them that they would benefit if they sent the complaints without delay.
They used currency with truth-clarifying messages on them to pay the postage, which the clerks accepted.
“If you come to our post office, we will mail the complaints for you,” said a postal clerk.
During the entire process, all practitioners felt that Master strengthened their resolve and that they improved their xinxing. We also clearly felt that fear and unrighteous thoughts disappeared.
One practitioner held great fear in the beginning and said that she would not go to the post office to mail the complaints.
“As a practitioner you should step out of your fear and do this,” I said and quoted Master,
“Fear can cause one to make mistakes, and fear can cause one to lose a predestined opportunity. Fear is a death trap on a human being’s journey toward divinity.” (“Pass the Deadly Test”, The Essentials of Diligent Progress VOL. III)
She realized that she had to let go of her fear and thus went to the post office. She mailed the criminal complaints against Jiang and answered the questions from the postal clerks.
After we finished filing criminal complaints against Jiang in my village, we went to other villages to encourage and help practitioners to write and file their complaints.
Two practitioners' family members also filed a complaint. I went back to my hometown with complaint letters every weekend for several weeks, so the practitioners could mail them. We filed over 30 criminal complaints against Jiang. All of the letters were accepted and we received notification of receipt.
In 1999, Jiang Zemin, as head of the Chinese Communist Party, overrode other Politburo standing committee members and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.
The persecution has led to the deaths of many Falun Gong practitioners in the past 16 years. More have been tortured for their belief and even killed for their organs. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.
Under his personal direction, the Chinese Communist Party established an extralegal security organ, the “610 Office,” on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang's directive regarding Falun Gong: to ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.
Chinese law allows for citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are now exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
