(Minghui.org) Several Falun Gong practitioners in Ximalin Town, Wanquan County, Hebei Province were harassed by police in August 2015. Below are some of the cases that have been reported to Minghui, with the practitioners' names in bold.
Sun Shibing, director of Ximalin Police Station, and Guo Wanbao, from the Ximalin Village Committee, forcibly entered Falun Gong practitioner Liang Fengming's home on August 25, and confiscated a copy of Minghui Weekly.
Guo Wanbao also accompanied an officer to harass another practitioner, Ms. Wang Ailian.
That same day, Tian Haidong, along with three other officers from Ximalin Police Station, scaled a wall and forced their way into practitioner Ms. Guo Xiulan's home to harass her.
Sun Shibing, Tian Haidong, and officer Zhang went to practitioner Ms. Wang Rune's store on August 26. Sun said, “Don't say anything, just listen to me. Don’t go anywhere, or we will put you in prison.”
They also went to practitioner Mr. Zhou Fengjun's store, but he was not there.
The three police officers also went to practitioner Ms. He Rumei's home in Yulingou Village. They shouted curses upon entering and threatened to slap Ms. He in the face and throw her in prison. Two of them forced Ms. He's fingerprint onto some statements which they had written on the spot. Ms. He attempted to explain to them why it was wrong for them to persecute Falun Gong, but they refused to listen. They confiscated a photo of Falun Gong's founder Mr. Li Hongzhi and stole some vegetables from Ms. He's garden.
Sun Shibing made a harassing phone call to practitioner Ms. Jia Chunyan's family on August 30.
Police also harassed practitioners in Gaomiaobao Township in late August.
Li Jianming, from Gaomiaobao Township Police Station, along with an officer from Wanquan County Police Department and a local officer, went to Ms. Zhang Yuhua's home in Bingmin Village. They asked her about a legal complaint she may have submitted against former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin.
Li Jianming and an officer from Wanquan County Police Department also went to practitioner Mr. Guo Tai's home in Bingmin Village. Mr. Guo had returned home in July 2014, after six years of imprisonment in the Tangshan No. 5 Prison.
Li Jianming has harassed Mr. Guo twice since then and forcibly confiscated a photo of Mr. Li Hongzhi, a hard drive, and other belongings. This time the officer from Wanquan County asked if Mr. Guo had filed a legal complaint against Jiang Zemin, and demanded that he write a letter promising not to a file complaint. Mr. Guo refused.
