A man approached the practitioners because he read on their poster that Falun Gong is a cultivation practice of both mind and body, which impressed him. When he heard that it was completely free of charge, he said that it must be a great practice. He explained that he used to follow another practice, but in order to advance to a higher level, he would have to pay $2,000, which he could not afford.
A woman walking with a child was distracted and in a hurry as she passed the Falun Gong booth. When the boy saw the practitioners meditating, he pulled his mother’s hand and pointed, but she was not interested. The child insisted and kept pulling her hand until they had to stop. Only after the mother took a flyer and thanked a practitioner was the child content to move on.
When the practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts together in Umag, several young girls sat next to them and tried to assume the same posture.

In Rovinj, a woman from Croatia observed the practitioners meditating for a long time. She said that it calmed her down just to observe them. A man from Australia said that he saw practitioners in his country in front of the Chinese embassy and that he was glad that, in Rovinj, they are also informing the people about Falun Gong and the persecution in China.
While the practitioners were setting up their booth in downtown Rovinj, a young girl came up and asked what it was all about. They told her that they were about to demonstrate Falun Gong exercises, so she waited patiently.
After watching carefully, she took a flyer and asked for another one for her mother, who was also interested in learning more about meditation. Many people tried to copy the movements as they watched the practitioners do the exercises.
