(Minghui.org) More than 134,000 criminal complaints have been filed against former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin for persecuting Falun Gong.
Recently, we have also experienced some interference from post offices and local officials. Some practitioners have become confused and are wondering what we should do next.
The situation people are facing when suing Jiang reminds me of what Master said,“As I've said, everything that happens today in the ordinary society is the result of Dafa disciples' thoughts.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.”)
There is nothing accidental in our cultivation. The tribulations we encounter are related to our loopholes, and we can use them to upgrade our xinxing.
Some practitioners are fearful or hesitate to sue Jiang and doubt if this effort will succeed. Harboring these notions, they could become very pessimistic. Half of the Politburo's Standing Committee members are still members of Jiang's faction, and even though the current Chinese leader is against Jiang, he is still the head of the Chinese Communist Party. One government official told a practitioner, “Even if Jiang is taken down, as long as the Chinese Communist Party exists, you will be persecuted!”
It is a maze, but with Teacher's help, we practitioners should be able to see through it clearly. At the very least, we should not let the situation become more complicated because of our human notions.
Through Teacher's lectures we have learned many things. There are many reasons why human society is this way, but we Dafa disciples need to play a leading role in saving sentient beings.
Many of us have a good understanding of sickness karma. As practitioners, we know that Master is helping us to transform our physical body into the high-energy matter. But when judging things with human notions, we could be worried about not taking medicine.
Similarly, Master also gave examples of car accidents in Zhuan Falun. Then, how about being arrested or detained by police for practicing Falun Gong? How about being shocked with electric batons? We also need to handle these kinds of situations with righteous thoughts instead of human notions.
Given the political environment in China, many political dissidents were considered counter-revolutionaries and mistreated in the past. But this was wrong and these kinds of charges have rarely been used since the Cultural Revolution. In Western society, for example, people who criticize the government are not punished. And right now in China, even criminals are allowed to appeal their convictions; we practitioners should have faith as long as we do the right thing.
In fact, as practitioners, we know that safeguarding Dafa is the most righteous thing in the universe and nothing is worthy of stopping us from doing that. We need to play the leading role. The situation in China is closely related to our cultivation.
Some practitioners heard that the complaints they sent to the Supreme Court and Supreme Procuratorate were returned to their local government offices. In my opinion, it is not necessarily a bad thing. It means the case was received and is being processed. With limited manpower at the Supreme Court and Supreme Procuratorate, it is natural for such offices to delegate some of the work to local offices.
Suing Jiang will surely succeed. This is not something human society can influence, because it is the will of heaven.
