(Minghui.org) Mr. Geng Xiujie was an assistant principal at Pingdu No. 2 Occupational High School in Pingdu, Shandong Province before the persecution of Falun Gong started. He is suing Jiang Zemin for initiating the suppression campaign, brought him tremendous suffering. He mailed his criminal complaint on July 13.
For practicing Falun Gong, Mr. Geng was detained and brutally beaten, deprived of sleep, malnourished, and subjected to other abuses in police custody.
He was also devastated financially. His school deducted four of his monthly paychecks from October 2000, and for the next twelve years he was paid only 300 yuan per month until 2012. Even so, his salary is much lower than those of others with similar credentials.
One day in the middle of November 2000, police from the Landi Township Police Station illegally arrested Mr. Geng. They beat him in an attempt to find out information about other Falun Gong practitioners. The head of the police station punched his jaw so hard that his teeth came loose.
He was tied to a metal chair for four days and four nights. The police slapped his face and punched him in the head repeatedly until he bled from his eyes.
“On the fourth day, they took me to the Pingdu Police Department. Four police officers encircled me and shouted at me. When I refused to give them the information they wanted, they started beating me brutally. I passed out within five minutes. When I came to, my whole body twitched in pain, and my eyes were so swollen that I could hardly see,” Mr. Geng recounted in his complaint.
Mr. Geng was kept in a detention center for ten days. Then, he was taken to the fourth floor of the police department.
He was cuffed, shackled, and forced to sit on the concrete floor. He was not allowed to sleep and was given only one steamed cornmeal bun each day for food. Five policemen took turns torturing him.
“I felt very cold, hungry and extremely exhausted. When I would move my body the slightest bit, the police would abuse me,” Mr. Geng said in his complaint.
On the fifth day, policeman Yu Bin dragged Mr. Geng to the northern part of the building.
“He cuffed me to an unheated radiator in a way where I could neither stand up nor squat down. The window had no window pane and the cold wind cut through my body like a knife. I felt extremely miserable,” Mr. Geng recounted.
“As if I were not suffering enough, Yu Bin punched me in the head until I passed out. I was carried back to the detention center before I regained consciousness,” said Mr. Geng.
He was kept in the detention center for a whole month before his school picked him up and locked him in a small room. There was no heat in the room, and it was extremely cold in the winter. They only unlocked the door when Mr. Geng's wife brought him food.
He was not allowed to go home until January 23, 2001.
In 1999, Jiang Zemin, as head of the Chinese Communist Party, overrode other Politburo standing committee members and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.
The persecution has led to the deaths of many Falun Gong practitioners in the past 16 years. More have been tortured for their belief and even killed for their organs. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.
Under his personal direction, the Chinese Communist Party established an extralegal security organ, the “610 Office,” on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang's directive regarding Falun Gong: to ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.
Chinese law allows for citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are now exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
